Matt Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 I just had the bogstandard pitch and players with snapped bodies! Although I did have a unique pitch because my granded mounted the pitch onto a piece of plywood for me so I had a solid base, and the pitch didn't "screw" up kind of thing!
john_lcfc Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 when i was about 7 i was subbuteo mad. i had the green mat put on a piece of MDF chipboard and i turned it into filbert street. I had little policemen in the corner of SK1 and i had floodlights and a grandstand as the carling stand. All of it is in a box in the garage now
Wellman Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 I had the advertising boards round mine!!! haha, oh the memorys...
City Fan Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 I have the special Astro pitch instead of a cloth one. I also had Leicester and a couple of other teams. I have also got floodlights and a stand!!
CasinoGee Posted 16 August 2005 Posted 16 August 2005 We've got a scoreboard with all the teams from the whole football league and conference and Scottish football league in it! I wanna play subbuteo again!

SystonFox Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 me and my dad were thinking about getting Subbuteo back out the other day, mines mounted onto some plywood also so it doesnt screw up. i had Leicester, Liverpool, Man U(3rd blue and white kit) and Sheffield Wednesday teams. it was a class game.
C-man Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 I've got the Euro '96 edition with a scoreboard, a stand and 2 floodlights
Hitesh Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 I had the standard players and goals. Had bluetac on some players because they had snapped. I remember having a few squads though, cant remember which ones. My cousin had the whole lot! Stadium, floodlights, policemen, and loads of teams...i remember we had a team each and made a little round robin team etc. I was in the final but got whooped!
King Kyle lcfc Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 subuteo was good but as soon as pro action football came it got rejected
rossporterlc Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 think pro action football was the one i had, is that the one with magnets on the players?
CasinoGee Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 Pro action was a cheap sell out version for the easily led.
rossporterlc Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 Pro action was a cheap sell out version for the easily led. 157915 yeh but was it the magnet one?
filbertway Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 yeh but was it the magnet one? 157923 Yeh i had that one where you press the players heads down. No match for the true classic which was/is subbuteo though
rossporterlc Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 Yeh i had that one where you press the players heads down. No match for the true classic which was/is subbuteo though 157944 most pf my players ended up snapping and one of the goalkeepers had lost an arm (he did rather well considering)
marko Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 I've just this minute an advert for a new subbutteo. Instead of the plastic men you have cardboard (or something like that) figures that have actual players printed on them and some crazy stadium.
Parsons Posted 17 August 2005 Posted 17 August 2005 i had the pro action football one. it was rubbish because it was too hard to hit the ball hard, if you hit it hard you would get the head of the player stuck in ure palm or finger. it happend to me once, the players head cut inside my skin and it really hurt
Daggers Posted 5 August 2007 Posted 5 August 2007 How big was the ****ing trophy? Did I hear right that you once had trials or something with a Subbutteo team, Dave?
