ramadaone Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Good luck to the lad. Hope he can make a name for himself in football, albeit in the lower leagues which is also the most realistic shout too. He was never going to make it here. RubbishHe could have made it here if had kept working as hard as he had done for the previous 8 years Once again Agents get in a young kids ear and tell him how brilliant he is and that he has arrived when he quite clearly hasn't. As others have mentioned you only need to look at Facebook and Twitter to see how dedicated he has been to football since he signed his Pro forms. Not the first and won't be the last

Haydos Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Seems a lot of hate for a Young lad who hasn't quite hit the standard required for a prem team. Sounds more like jealousy to me. Why is it jealousy? It's just some piss taking of a guy that acts like a right wand on twitter. I'm sure nobody wishes anything bad on him but there's not really much else to say.

weller7 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Taft is still only 20 years old & has represented England at u18 u19 & u20 level have some people on here got such limited football intelligence to think clubs will not take a gamble on him , Ramadaone needs to concentrate on his own job & DanNDH88 needs to concentrate picking his dole money up , think there will be some very disappointed people on here come next season
Corky Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Why do posters seem to take pleasure when a player leaves the club? Most are decent lads, can't understand the constant joy on here when players leave or have a few bad games. It wasn't too long ago many on here were saying Drinkwater was rubbish, same with James, Nugent and Vardy to name but a few. Kasper will be next if he decides to leave,,,, God help SSL, when he leaves the club, even being unfortunate to have had a long term injury doesn't excuse many on here gloating over such things. Who will be next seasons scapegoats if things don't go too well? Pretty sad really. Yeah, your lovely little piece about how we should be nice to football people would've probably held more weight if you hadn't been calling our manager Suedehead, hoping he would be sacked almost weekly and banging on about King Billy.
Dan Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I'm gutted. Now he can go back to searching his own name on Twitter and favouriting any tweets slagging him off.
Dan Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Hope this works I hope this is recent. Did we really retain a player up until now despite THAT?

I can't believe my eyes.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I always stick up for Tafty on here he could have signed a 1 year deal with a signing on fee & put (buzzing for a new contract ) on twitter like the other lads but he obviously wants to move on with his football , if other lads are happy to take the money & play development football great but this lad obviously doesn't , can't believe the shit he gets on her , good luck to the lad Taft is still only 20 years old & has represented England at u18 u19 & u20 level have some people on here got such limited football intelligence to think clubs will not take a gamble on him , Ramadaone needs to concentrate on his own job & DanNDH88 needs to concentrate picking his dole money up , think there will be some very disappointed people on here come next season Good luck, George
weller7 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I wish been a long time since I was 20 years old believe me I wish been a long time since I was 20 years old believe me

Taft was sent back from York before his loan expired. What does that say?
weller7 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Get your facts right did a full month at York & got motm at Exeter City
Bert Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Get your facts right did a full month at York & got motm at Exeter CityMOTM against Exeter City? WHY HAVEN'T WE SIGNED HIM ON?
Soar Fox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 On 29 August 2013, Taft joined League Two club York City on a one-month loan,[7] and made his debut two days later in the team's 2–1 away defeat at Exeter City.[8] Having made three appearances for York,[8] he was sent back to Leicester on 23 September 2013 after falling behind David McGurk, Danny Parslow and Chris Smith in the pecking order for a central defensive berth.[9]
TheUltimateWinner Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Get your facts right did a full month at York & got motm at Exeter City You know an awful lot about this guy..
Andyfeeley Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I suppose we could of signed him on to play under 21 football with Blyth,Cain, sessay, hopper who seem to be happy picking up a wage instead of cutting ties holding there hands up and saying maybe this isn't the club for me you all slag Logan off for sticking around is that what you want theses lads to do ? And is a new one year contract any good anyway ? as have any of you seen James Pearson play now that's a ****ing joke 😀
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Taft - taking selfies is one thing, Photoshopping green eyes and a girly pattern on it is another, joining a club forum posing as a fan (when half if not all your posts are defending George Taft)... I don't know what you're trying to achieve. How about focussing on your profession, if you want to be a professional?
65RosesFox Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Is there an alternative link to the video as it's not working on iPad.
foxile5 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 It's a bizarre start of affairs. He clearly loves the club, I don't see why he's disliked. Liam Moore is one of our own, as it George Taft.
ramadaone Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 Watched him plenty of times. He simply wasn't good enough.Trust me Bert I saw a lot more of him than you didHe WAS more than good enough so where did it all go wrong that's the question that needs addressing here Maybe the coaching , maybe George's lack of desire , maybe injuries , maybe Agents filling his head full of shite Don't like the bloke but this reality check might just get him back on the straight and narrow so let's see how it pans out

That must be a good indication to say he wasn't good enough and was never going to make it with Leicester. He clearly isn't a liked person around here, he comes across as a young lad living the high life when he has never done anything in the game, people don't take to that well.

I agree, billy big bollocks reserve players for a Championship team acting like the don on twitter aren't going to win much love or get very far. Get off twitter and get your head down lads.
