Sorry to disappoint you, but it's plain and simple to see that Taft isn't good enough for Leicester, even if we were still a Championship team.

 

He spent a month on loan at York and was dropped after 3 games in which they conceded 6 goals before being dropped and sent back to us after falling down the pecking order. This was in a team that only conceded 41 league goals in 46 games. York conceded 14% of their goals with Taft in their team, and that was in 3 games.

 

He's now 20, if all he's done so far is a failed loan spell at York then it's plain to see there's something not right.

 

Meanwhile, Moore is 6 months older than him, is playing for the England under-21s tonight and has had 2 successful loan spell at Bradford and Brentford, when he was younger than Taft. Moore has now made 52 appearances for Leicester in his career and is aiming to make 500 appearances for us rather than just rest on his laurels. 

 

If Taft was good enough then he'd already be in the Leicester first team, or at least around and about it, but he's not.
