Free (almost) Season Ticket

Ok, here's a thought,

As a p-lastic fan who hasnt been to a game since 2011, i am considering getting a season ticket for 14/15, some may think a strange decision for someone who lives in Australia!

Clearly  i will not be able to attend 90% of the games, however, i am considering the possibility of coming back for a 3 or 4 weeks in December 14 and what i would really like is to get to some home games... but especially (depending on the fixture list of course) a couple of big AWAY games... Manu, Pool, Chels, etc.

So im looking for someone who has a priority 1 away record... who might be interested in a part share in a season ticket.

I havent finalised my idea yet, but lets say i were to buy a season ticket SK1/2 (450 pounds) in your (priority1 away) name.

For that, you will pay me 50 pounds and you would get use of the ticket for ALL home games except between (and as i said this isnt finalised) December 5th and December 30th You would also of course have your priority 1 for ALL away games except you would let me have it for the awayers between December 5th and December 29th.

Im guessing this would get me 4 (possibly 5) games? and of course, depending on fixtures as to who and where those games are.

what would this take... well, a lot of trust on my part, a lot of money on my part ....and honesty and commitment from you that, for example...if the boxing day game is LCFC Vs Liverpool at Anfield and that a win means we will go top of the table.. that you will happily hand me your priority pass to buy a ticket :)

The trip back will be 90% about seeing Citeh in the Prem and 10% about family and travel etc (shh dont tell them that)

Any thoughts?... or alternatively, ideas that would see me able to get to games (home and away) at that time of year?

(A couple of people on here know/have met me and can to some degree vouch for my honesty)

PMs and suggestions here welcomed

£50 for a season (minus one month) ticket. Bargain I'm in! Only have to go 3 games to get money's worth worst case scenario

If you did that and used man utds fixtures from this season you'd pay £400 to watch Everton, Newcastle and Spurs at home

I know.. its a gamble, but what can you do.... i also did it with Cardiff and Hulls fixture list form 13/14 and it wasnt particularly impressive.

But, lifes a gamble i guess. :)

have you got a priority 1 away record?

This sounds a great idea mate.I was considering this sort of thing when I was ready to ditch my home ST but keep my away priority.I'm sure you'll sort it out with someone.

If you have no joy. You can upgrade my daughters season ticket for any home games during that period.

I currently have p1 on mine that I would happily allow you to use. But not sure next year if they are rolling 2 seasons over or slashing the 1st season off.

And I moan about coming across from Cradley Heath !!

Good luck with your plan, it sounds more than generous and I hope you get to see some games in December.

Is it specifically in the Kop you're looking to sit oz? I've got P1 for aways (17 credits atm) and 'sit' in L1. Would definitely consider your offer as I'm 99% sure I'm seeing family in Holland for the festive fixtures anyway.

Even if your not you could pick up general sale tickets with the money you've saved!

Absolute bargain!

Unfortunately, im guessing that the bigger games Utd and Lpool etc will sell out particularly the away games. I figure this might be a (albeit expensive and risky) way to guarantee a ticket.

Have you thought about contacting the club? Maybe they could sort something out for you.

I have considered that.. (and i dont want to sound all wanky).. but i dont want to deprive other fans of their right to go, imagine if its a huge game away and people who have been going to games, ST holdeers etc are on here begging for tickets and some cvnt fro OZ crusies in and grabs a ticket.

So... ive decided that ill wait until the draw comes out.. and see if i can arrange something (Riyad im looking at you!! ;)  ). Its gonna cost a shedload of money and as P lastic as it sounds... if i spend thousands and end up with Hull (again) and Naarch away..well ill be a little disappointed.

lol the missus is being brilliant and saying i should do it etc... lol.. mind you, when she says.. you might never get the chance to see them in the prem again... im wondering whats in store for the club.. or me :o

thanks to anyone who has comented or messaged.... and if you ahve a away P1 and wont be using it in December.. let me know and i might "make it worth your while" ;)

Yes maybe, but you're travelling from the other side of the world and you're only talking about one ticket for each game. I'd give them a ring/email and explain I'm sure they would be happy to help.

Birch might even have you on the pitch, then all those long term season ticket holders will see what you look like and can jump you after for being plastic. lol
