Gaelic Football

Does anybody watch it? I got into it on holiday in Ireland about a decade ago and it's a brilliant spectator sport, especially live (same goes for hurling). The atmosphere for big games is fantastic. Apparently Sky have started showing it.

I'm sure that when I was a kid there was a gaelic football pitch on Western Park next to the Glenfield Road/New Parks Boulevard roundabout and they used to have regular games there.

Gaelic Football was the most enjoyable of the sports we used to play at school. Never watched it, but if it's on Sky I'll start.

Slightly different rules. They do the occasional "International Rules" games between Ireland and Australia.

Used to play it for the Leicester team Naomh Padraig and played for the Warwickshire side too when I was younger. End up with dislocated fingers every other week!
