SeattleShane Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 A goalkeeper who has been around for years at Leicester. Does he want to play or is he just happy to pick up a paycheck?
Stadt Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 When he leaves a statue should be sat down on the memorial garden bench.
EnglishOxide Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 I dunno but he's a legend after today He let Harry Styles score past him. Pathetic.
SeattleShane Posted 27 May 2014 Author Posted 27 May 2014 He's definitely happy picking up his paycheck mate.. I dont know if its just me but I would be wanting to play every week
Jay Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Well it is a job for him and he has a young family to look after, no guarantee that another club would offer him a contract and if nobody has come knocking then you can't blame him for sticking around
Fox92 Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 23 games played in 10 years? Think he's happy with the money. That said, I can't see another football club giving him a wage for ten years of keeping the bench warm. It's a win-win for him really, but if he had any ambition he'd be a regular in League One/League Two.
Unabomber Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 It will be interesting to see what happens when his contract runs out and he is not offered a new one.
Stadt Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 It will be interesting to see what happens when his contract runs out and he is not offered a new one.Maybe he'll play in Ireland
linemakers Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He's been good for the club, from youth team so hasn't cost us, been understudy and back up and not rocked the boat. Goal keeper only position where you have to have a back up but who may never play.
Onions Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Agree ^ People so quick to slag him off but how many managers have kept him here? He must be helping in some way, you don't get contract after contract if you ain't useful
linemakers Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Also this Nigel Worthington was appointed caretaker manager, Logan regained his place in a 2–1 defeat to Norwich City on 14 April 2007.[13] He played in the club's last five league games of the season, earning two clean sheets helping Leicester avoid relegation.
Itsthejoeker Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Should he be going to the press moaning that he does't get a game, causing rifts in the squad? There will always be backup goalkeepers, would you rather it was Adam Smith, who could be going out on loan and developing a career?
Soar Fox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 Who will wash the kit though if conrad leaves? The kit man.
CosbehFox Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He's been told on repeat occasion of his role by management staff but he doesn't budge.
LeicesterBran Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 I bet he'll go to a League 1 or League 2 as it's his level and is not good enough for the Championship or Premiership.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He's been told on repeat occasion of his role by management staff but he doesn't budge. Maybe because they keep offering him new contracts?!
LCFCDannyB Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He let Harry Styles score past him. Pathetic. yh but then he saved nialls penalty and the whole stadium went quiet
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He's lucky he doesn't get paid per game he plays. I can just see him sitting on the pavement, playing a guitar.
It's me Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 He let Harry Styles score past him. Pathetic.Apparently it was all a set up so that it would go to penaltiesEveryone went up to Conrad there was a big chat he dives left and Harry styles puts it down the middle, they probably just wanted to make the girls scream. Also they took the time off the board at around 75 minutes
It's me Posted 27 May 2014 Posted 27 May 2014 yh but then he saved nialls penalty and the whole stadium went quiet That was a good soundSilence No girls screaming
