The very last game of the group stages Argentina were unconvincing yet again. Can see them falling in the Semis. Thankfully they hung on and I just need France to beat Ecuador. Feel like a tit for backing a European side against a South American but this particular South American side lost to a poorer European side than France, so you never know.

No idea what happens there then? nah they've got 4 goalscorers all on one goal so a quarter of your stake remains in the bet and 3/4s of it is lost. so you've got £1.25 still on @ 30/1, then if either of the other two is joint it'll halve/third again etc. atm it's £1.25 @ 30/1 and hope lukaku finds his shooting boots

Seeing as it only accounts for one of the three players I've got. In my opinion it's fairer if you have say... A third of the stake - Martinez A third of the stake - Lukaku A third of the stake - Dzeko Then you have a quarter of Dzeko's third. So that overall would make my stake £3.75, if I'm not mistaken. EDIT; I've read through that and a lot of it is utter waffle so fair play if you made sense of that.

ScouseFox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 haha nah i get what you're trying to say but the way it works is there is technically 4 winners of the bosnia top scorer market, so your stake gets split into the 4. 3 of them are losers so 3 of your 4 quarters are lost and one is a winner so you keep the bet with 1/4 of the stake. works the same with all dead heats on horses, dogs, etc.
Dan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Fair enough. Slightly harsh IMO but I suppose it's better than having the bet lost. So Martinez & Lukaku win (and to be honest I highly doubt that based on Lukaku's displays) and I've won £37.75 + £1.25 back, so £39.
