Guest Bilo Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Criterion pizzas, mmmmm. They are the shit. One of many things I miss.
Mint23 Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 When does the new brewdog pub open? I love those bars and the one in Bristol is probably my favourite boozer so really looking forward to getting one closer to home
Unabomber Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 QOB, Taps, don't mind orange tree, great beers at the pub on new walk but dodgy as **** decor and no babes at all.
Unabomber Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Absolutely this, I am deffo going to go for a drink in there. The decor is very nice inside and they do a good range of different beers. ah looks like decor is still a big thing for me.
Unabomber Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 I still love Cafe Bruxelles. Good decor to be fair, no babes.
Sir Fynwy Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 When does the new brewdog pub open? I love those bars and the one in Bristol is probably my favourite boozer so really looking forward to getting one closer to home 16th April.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 ah looks like decor is still a big thing for me. Nice place you'd like in Thurmaston. Dunelm Mills. You have to take your own booze but they're big on decor.

I love Punk IPA, proper quaffable tipple. The burning question is whether Tactical Nuclear Penguin or Sink the Bismarck will be there.
Finnegan Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Good decor to be fair, no babes. I get why you and Loveday prefer Taps and QOB to Bruxelles and Criterion but that's probably exactly why I'm the opposite. I want way more chilled and less loud young people, ha. I can't remember if it was you or TripAdvisor that recommended 't Poastersgat to me in Bruges but that was basically my perfect bar. Had I boundless money that's what I'd want to open/own over here. Nice moody aesthetics, bit quirky, good beers, nice atmosphere, not dull but you can hear the people you're with.
GaelicFox Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Swan & Rushes The Pub (New Walk) The Criterion The Globe My fav 4 as well

Finnegan Posted 8 April 2015 Posted 8 April 2015 Pretty sure if you took your own booze to Dunelm Mills and poured yourself s pint you'd be asked to leave, like. Yeah I did, that place was amazing! That had la chouffe on tap and I think that it is there where I fell in love with it. Aye, hope to go back this year. Absolutely top bar. Obviously need to make sure to hit Cambrinus this time too.

Reckon you'd love that, it is tiny and just a young guy who has 8 different Belgian beers on draft each month depending on what he fancies, very very cool though. Looking back and actually thinking about it he is probably my hero.
