Bryn Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 He doesn't have potential, he wasn't the player he was. My mate supports Hull and even said he isn't the player who used to rip teams apart, he picked up a bad injury and hasn't really recovered since. Stewart isn't the player I'd be going for, and I do believe this is lazy reporting - they know Nige like(ed) him, they know Nige managed him, and we're the new team in the division looking to improve our team etc - I wouldn't read too much into it. He had that short spell of being good then went shit and unfit. They think he's crap up here.
Babylon Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 He had that short spell of being good then went shit and unfit. They think he's crap up here. Yeah well they all reckon Pearson was crap... so shows what they know.
Fox Ulike Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 Can't believe he's only 23... Real shame if his best days are already behind him. I'd give him a go. Going out on loan twice every season isn't going to get the best out of him... With a bit of stability he could get back to his best... maybe?
surrifox Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 No you are right we should trust the judgement of Leeds United who stumble from one mess to another, over that of the management that walked the league comfortably. calm down - you will find no criticism implied or otherwise of our management set up in any of my comments on these boards - just pointing out that Leeds have withdrawn their offer and as you say they are a mess. However since you appear to be a stickler for such things where is the evidence that our management team have made any serious moves to sign him and require your spirited defence?
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 I would take him! He's young, played some of his best career football under Pearson so he will most likely have a soft spot for nuge, he's got a lot of potential & would only be signed as back up, plus he's a free transfer! I wouldn't mind this.
Raw Dykes Posted 30 June 2014 Posted 30 June 2014 Yeah well they all reckon Pearson was crap... so shows what they know. It's funny that they say that while at the same time being so bitter about him leaving.
PAPA LAZAROU Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Yeah well they all reckon Pearson was crap... so shows what they know. They are entitled to think that. Their manager Bruce is now a proven premiership manager while with Pearson the jury is out at that level.
Mark_w Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 Yeah well they all reckon Pearson was crap... No they don't.
Babylon Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 No they don't. They do now after he jumped ship... before that he was gods gift. Just as they thought Cameron was the dogs bits not long ago.

There isn't but it didn't stop you commenting, so why should it stop me?
Mark_w Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 They do now after he jumped ship... before that he was gods gift. They hated him, but not that many actually thought he was a bad manager, did they? Obviously there were a few idiots just like ours, but I thought most of them agreed that he did a good job?

Well the ones I've had the misfortune of coming across do nothing but slate him, like I said it wasn't like that before he jumped ship though.
