Where were you when we were shit?

We lost 6-1 at Ipswich in 2002 and the fans never stopped singing, superb support. Chelsea away in 2012 was enjoyable for the level of support we had.

You can flip the Ipswich game to when we won 6-0,it was as flat as a pancake. Most people around me wanted more goals instead of trying to get some sort of atmosphere going. That was the beginning of the end for me in that part of the kop.I'm weird I know but I actually walked away from that game disappointed.

Our fans are far more animated when we are struggling, you'll see anger and frustration when things go wrong at a louder, more vocal level than when we play sweeping, exciting football.

I've been watching Leicester since 1881, 3 years before most people had heard of them. Games lasted for hours in those days with a short break for lunch, but you could piss in the stands back then which was both convenient and handy for comparing knob sizes with other so-called fans. Rrrrr, great days.

Oh good, this debate again. My dick is bigger than your dick. Yawn

Was a pretty good atmosphere let me add, but please don't turn this into a plastics argument!

Ahh thanks to those who read my post properly

Yes maybe a better title could have been used but that was the chant that reminded me of that night.

Heyho to the grumpy bastards who have been critical of my post.

I attended both the Wycombe loss, which was the first time I left the ground where it felt life nobody talked afterwards and just shuffled to our cars, and also the Man U game which confirmed our relegation the following season. Both awful times in our history but losses which will always stay in my mind for obvious reasons.

Ok sticking my head back up my arse now

I've come to the conclusion that our fans are at their most vocal when something has gone amiss rather than from watching quality football.

A shit ref or assistant, a jobs worth steward, an opposition player getting one of our players booked/sent off unfairly in their minds all these things and others get the crowd up for it so fans leaving early is just another one to add to the list.

You are spot on. How often do you hear chants about a fan's actual team? The majority of the time is about the opposition. I lost with someone at the Wednesday game this year who was criticising Dyer when he came on. We were on the verge of promotion, praise....don't criticise!

Anyway, the years once Levein joined they were horrific. Hopelessly mid table and every season we would need a mini run of form to stop relegation. I was a season ticket holder for the Adams/Levein season and then eventually sacked it off but was still going down regularly. It said a lot at that time when that 3-2 thriller against newly promoted Hull and Joey's halfway line strike was considered a season high.

suddenly this act of idiosy by a glory hunting few sparked probably the noisiest 15 mins of the season at the KP

^^ From the original post.

You leave ten minutes early and you're a glory hunting idiot.

Of course I may have read that out of context or misinterpreted the meaning ?

Stood in pen 2 hoping Pleat would be sacked and the Shipmans would fvck off happily both happened.

Oh and when not in pen 2 stood on some shite terrace like Notts county L Orient or Oldham.

The home of so much success and silverware, and the best supporters in the land!

Sorry Foxes fans, but you and me come poor second in every sense.

Really that remains to be seen.

Wonder how many fans they would have if they dropped as low as we did.

Easy to fill a ground when you win the league year after year and challenge in every cup.

I'd say the fans of still go to watch the county in the Championship are the best.
