They usually use the marriott but id imagine Everton are there tonight n hilton is too close... access to the mercure is crap n shows too much of the city.. holiday inn is ideal.. plus they have more meeting rooms so media access n doing contracts etc is better.. plus if the medical is at the hotel they have the better gym

Its a proper riches to rags story this is turning into

Think about it. You need somewhere to meet that is private, not far from the ground so he can have a quiet drive by when nobody is looking. It would have to be somewhere the club always uses. You would also pick somewhere that has an entrance where he can slip in and out without being noticed.hey presto, The Holiday Inn

Probably just use the ground.

Leicester City are set to unveil Esteban Cambiasso as their latest signing ahead of their Premier League opener vs Everton on Saturday. The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan midfield general was once said to be linked with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Aston Villa however never agreed a deal. It is now understood that the 33-year-old Argentine will be unveiled as The Foxes marquee signing of the summer.

Cambiasso has always had ambitions to play in the Premier League, and after approximately two weeks of negotiations he is set to join up with Nigel Pearson’s men as they embark upon the top flight of English football for the first time in a decade. Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Aston Villa failed to attract the world-class star in earlier attempts, but now it seems that we will finally welcome the experienced midfielder to the Premier League.

What a sensational coup for Leicester City. Cambiasso was understood to have passed an official club medical in London prior to finalising a deal with club officials.

As I said, gentlemen, it's not what you know ..........

Surely a 34 year old on a free can't be a 'marquee signing'?

It may well turn out to be a coup but 'marquee'???

Personally I think a 33 year old known World Class player from Inter Milan will be a signing that attracts far more attention than Albrighton, Ulloa and Upson

Hopefully other players see it as marquee though.. may attract better quality players to sign...

I think the deeney deal is flat.. but imagine it was between us n burnley.. they sign ward n we get cambiasso.. who looks the better deal n more ambition

Anyone who thinks Esteban Cambiasso is not marquee needs a good hard look in the mirror.

He's littered with trophys and is still up there with Steven Gerrard in the holding role in midfield. The biggest star Leicester have signed ever.

Seems marquee to me.

Another with a hang up about fees.
