Couple more Leicester enjoying Bochum yesterday -

Went to bratwursthaus (unreal stuff) then walked to and around the ground, had a quick beer in Eck - Stadion then went back into town. Sorta walked around the city centre before going to fiege klapken and then met Julien in mandragora. Thanks so much for the recommendations, will defo have to get out for a game but really enjoyed my day.

Away hiking in Wales. Just spotted this in Dolgellau. Very random.

Lived in Dolgellau for a few years, moved away 2 years ago but didn’t know any other Leicester fans?

Well, I know people there from Leicester and other English areas but not Foxes fans. I played football there, coached a youngsters team and was part of the community for years.
As for Cymraeg, Dolgellau is known as a strong Welsh speaking area, the school is first language Welsh and its evident in the pubs and shops. In tourist season it’s less obvious. My wife and two daughters are fluent Welsh speakers.
The Bochum sticker is intriguing.

In fairness, haven't been there for 20 years. I just imagined not much had changed.

Bloke seems harmless but how hard is it to quickly google the name of the river next to the ground? lol

As mentioned, even a quick DM to someone involved would have made that vid a lot more interesting. Ah well, if it sparks an interest for even one person on either side then it's no bad thing.

Mostly watched the end of the Bochum match whilst waiting for ft at newcastle away. The keeper got whacked by a lighter from the crowd. Everyone left the pitch, game suspended. Players eventually came back out, but the keeper is injured so an outfield player goes in goal. The players just passed it around for 5 mins until ft. Surreal

Off to the Freiburg home game on Saturday, turns out another group of Leicester who met some Bochum fans at the Chelsea game will be making their first trip. Looking forward to meeting all for a nice pre-match Fiege Pils or two.

There have been trips in recent weeks to home games against RB, Pauli and an away trip to Gladbach. Two separate groups are heading over this weekend, believe one came out of the this -

Three lads from Bochum randomly turned up in Duffy’s yesterday post match. I think one of their Dad’s was mates with a Leicester bloke at uni the story was.

Trips coming the other way are happening too. Brentford at home being the next.
