Another option that we are considering is the ICE train direct from Bochum to Berlin on the saturday morning for Hertha Berlin vs Borussia Dortmund and then a night out in Berlin.

 

If anyone wants any more information on the trip or has any questions just ask!


Seriously considering this now.

 

You won't regret it.

 

Had a couple lads off Foxestalk come on our last trip and they are buzzing for this trip as well.

Jumped at this trip last year. Only new one lad and the rest where 'faces' from down the city I knew. Honestly such a good time was had. Good friends with all the lads from this trip, all over doing it again.

I would definitely be interested... I watch bundesliga highlights every Monday and the atmosphere at the German matches seems brilliant.

Extending the invitation for anyone who fancies coming along to Bochum for our next trip.

We are planing on going over for their home game against Freiburg on the weekend of the 5th of February. The game hasn't been confirmed yet so it could be any kick off from 18:30 Friday to 20:00 Monday. The game should be finalised by the end of November though so we'll have plenty of time to get everything booked.

We'll be staying for a couple of nights so will be getting in another game as well but not sure what game yet.

Flights should be around the £50 mark and hotels shouldn't be more than £50 for the 2 nights as well. Price of the football tickets aren't even worth mentioning lol

We took 20 lads over last Feb and this November for the Watford game Bochum are bringing nearly 30! So hopefully we can take even more for this trip!

Last time a few lads from Foxestalk who messaged me on here came over so would be good if a few more came this time!

If you want to know any more details about it just ask.

Absolutely mad weekend. I woke up to about 4 MrChicken Sandwiches and a load of chips  lol

If we start drinking at 5:30am I think ghosting at 10pm is quite respectable.

How much is this likely to cost? Would quite fancy it to be honest.

I booked flights yesterday. £13 outbound, £26 inbound. Accommodation can be as cheap/expensive as you wish and the tickets won't be more than £15.

Woah, so dirt cheap. How is Bochum as a place? Might consider making a bit of a holiday out of it with a few mates.

 

Might see if I can get to a Dortmund game or something when im there.

Honestly, I've been once and I never really intended to go back. lol

But Düsseldorf and Cologne are well worth a visit. Or you could do AndWhat's suggestion and get a quick train (if you book early it can be as little as €19 for a 3 hour train) to Berlin on the Saturday to watch BVB at the Olympiastadion. Getting tickets for that won't be guaranteed though...

lol don't listen to C-Man, Bochum is a beautiful place!

Some pretty cool bars there and the best currywurst in all of Germany.

Bochum have arrived. Absolutely cracking lads.
