Went to visit the Ruhrstadion on Thursday.

Does seem smaller in real life than it actually is and it makes you wonder how they pack 20'000+ people on a matchday. :D

It's a bit tacky, both on the inside and the outside. A very odd concrete shape.

 

Union Berlin's ground, who has less capacity, seems bigger - but maybe it's down to the more modern main stand.

 

Still, lovely people at Bochum - you get that sense of the community still deeply rooted in the mining history; hands-on folks, straightforward and honest.

Very likeable. Plus, it's blue and white. And they're doing rather well so far this season (never mind the 3-0 loss at KSC tonight).

Absolute class yesterday. Watching Leicester is fantastic at the moment but days like yesterday are special.

Seconded. The bochum lads certainly added to the day, Julian's dive off the stool in the Swan was epic. Safe journey back lads.

That video is brilliant. Is the camera going to be a regular thing?

 

I love the deathly silence as Vardy is running up to take the pen. And the lad in the Bochum shirt reminds me of myself at games, can't stand still! Ha.

Great video. Really enjoyed that. I love seeing Union FS bouncing around in the corner whenever we score, looks fantastic especially from the view I get from my seat.
