Premierfoxes Posted 8 September 2014 Share Posted 8 September 2014 Stoke have an away fans pub located 5 minutes from the train station. The police will most likely escort Leicester fans from the train station here anyway. And then half an hour or so before ko a number of double decker buses will come to the pub and for £1 you get a return from the pub to the ground. Really good atmosphere in the pub and on the buses. Address is; The terrace, leek road, stoke on Trent, st4 2bw
Petchy Posted 8 September 2014 Share Posted 8 September 2014 The Terrace is a pretty decent pub, small but good. They usually do a daily offer on a certain beer for £1.75 a pint too, don't know if they'll do it on a match day or not! See you guys down there

Ashley Posted 9 September 2014 Share Posted 9 September 2014 I was in the Goals last year. Had a quick one in the Harvester but it got pretty cramped. Would recommend the goals about 5 minutes walk away from Ground

Sir Fynwy Posted 11 September 2014 Share Posted 11 September 2014 Why do football some fans still accept being rammed into a pub by the local constabulary?
Voll Blau Posted 11 September 2014 Share Posted 11 September 2014 Why do football some fans still accept being rammed into a pub by the local constabulary? It is a concern, but in this case the pub is nice with a decent beer selection and transport laid on to the ground. Somewhere I would go out of choice anyway. Besides we were hardly coerced last year. Just advised where a decent local pub was.

Would never let it happen in Nottingham, Sheffield, London etc but it's not as though the set up in Stoke lends itself to being able to choose between many decent boozers with the location of the ground and the station.
