Illogical fans

I just wanted to point out something to simply get it off my chest that really irritates me in football fans. Now, I am sure we are all guilty of it aswell but I have seen it from the fans of every team we have played this season except Chelsea so far which will become apparent why.

It is simply the fact of how many of their fans whinge and moan about the result and call us shocking, a shower, pathetic and a load of other names like that.

I just wish they would realise they have seen one game we have played this season and possibly that is the first they have seen in a long time. They are then going on to call us rubbish and all this and yet we either drew against them or beat them.

So the thing I find illogical is why can't they see that it is such a bad reflection on them if they consider us a shower of a team and we still manage to draw or beat them. Imagine what would happen if we played our absolute best against them. They should be thankful we are gracious and give them a chance to look good.....but not to get three points. We are not that generous.

Too right. I can see today that we were a bit fortunate to take all 3 points but then again were we?

We defending resolutely, limited them to very few chances and we're clinical when we had our chance. Very good premier league away setup imo

We are going to have to get used to it this season I'm afraid.  No matter who we beat this year, home or away, its always going to come down to (according to opposition fans anyway) their own team playing absolutely garbage.  But we should be totally fine with that because...well...what do we care what anyone else thinks?

I would argue we were unlucky to draw with Arsenal.

We've deserved our 5 points, we've had to work very hard for them and people will see we are a good side with some quality players eventually. Until then they can talk all the shit they want.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has admitted that he has "no complaints" with his side's 1-0 defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Potters were beaten at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday as Leonardo's Ulloa's second-half goal saw the Foxes snatch the points.

"We can't have any complaints about their game plan because we did the same at Manchester City a couple of weeks ago," Hughes is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"You have to give the opposition credit, they defended manfully. We had good chances and on another day we would have taken the game away from them quite comfortably."
