davieG Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Ulloa 3 goals in 4 Any other that have made similar starts? I think Iwan Roberts got 3 in 3 in the 2nd tier? Chris Wood got 5 in 2 in the 2nd tier plus a cup goal in between ?
David Guiza Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 The Yak didn't start too badly I believe? Pretty sure he always averaged about 1 in 2/2.5. Ulloa is a class above though.

Of course, we played some great football when he was here too. Derby away springs to mind. Couldn't imagine the Yak fitting into our system now; to use a classic Foxestalk line, 'all he does is score goals'.
mozartfox Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Frank? Jackie? Him and the 'Doog' were a class act.
mozartfox Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Jackie? Him and the 'Doog' were a class act. Just checked this Sinclair's record with City - 50 goals in 103 appearances and he was a winger!
thybluefox Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Wasn't Wood hammering them in in his first few games?
VLC86 Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Trevor Sinclair 3 OGs in 3 Brilliant, one of them was a cracking overhead kick I remember.
Freesolo Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I remember are first season in the Prem with MON Steve Claridge scored something like 12 goals in the season and was the highest scoring striker not to be capped for his country Claridge for England!

Rumour had it he only wasn't capped as they didn't want him sleeping in Wembley car park
Mint23 Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 Collymore got off to a pretty good start if I remember
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 What makes it even more impressive is the teams he's done it against.
