Last month,  lesser lights such as StanSP,Des and Ross Kemp rocked up to the party and gave leading lights opportunistic Facecloth and serious The Doctor a bloody nose but have they did enough to be in the contention  for the runner up position? The Doctor has been quiet for last two months but will we see Dr Jekyll harvesting the points this month or will Dr Hyde emerge and leave the door open for the chasers to steam in while rolling out the red carpet for Facecloth? With just two editions left, the time is running out and the only way to discover whose nose will remain intact and in no need of a surgery by The Doctor this month is to play on….

Bovril beaten you to it.

24. Luca Toni

Correct- you was very lucky, if any of other posters picked up the fact I told you that you can only post one answer at a time then they would have picked up that either Pippo or Toni is correct.

Just one question left- the Gerrard question.  It is just a  simple guessing game- he netted 14 goals last season but how many of them were pens?

Posted

2. 10 penalties from Gerrard. Think they mentioned it when he netted in the Champions League the other week.

Correct, the magazine said it was 11 from 14 but it was a typo on their part, I checked wiki so you have got yourself a point sir.

11

Nope, it was 10

24. Trezeguet?

RossKemp got it, the answer was Toni.

2. 10

He scored 13 as well, not 14. :)

Trust you to come in this thread and have a pop at me re Liverpool :P

All right, here is the latest table. The winner this month is Ross-Kemp who recaptured his early season form to launch himself into the title race along with steady climber The Doctor. Other winners this month were ScouseFox who leapfrogged StanSP to be in the big six and Kingfox who collected three points on his debut. With the next edition to be culmination of a year (well half a year) long battle of intellect and guesswork, there are the title to be decided, European spots to be filled and relegation to be avoided (!) it is set to be the most exciting edition ever...
