I don't know why mahrez takes corners or free kicks, he can't get it past the first man. Wasyl is our best threat in the air

Going by all the goals he's scored for us?

I actually think James' corners were okay yesterday, certainly not brilliant but better than the normal 'float to the back post and hope Wes gets his head on it!' type that we see from Knockaert/Mahrez.

Lack of height in the team and without Ulloa on the pitch we're not likely to win any header! So poor from any set piece situation in general it's frightening!

Anyone know whether Powell can take corners? I know Albrighton has taken some decent ones in his Villa days but seems like him and Knockaert's only hope to get near the team would be to become CMs going by our recent tactics

Alexis sanchez isnt tall but managed to head in a goal when in the middle of two CBs yesterday.

Our delivery is the problem. Really shit. Two of the best crosses this season have come from Ulloa. One for Kings header and Cambiasso vs Swansea.

Edit. INB4 anyone reminds me Vardy's cross for Ulloa, Schlupp, Mahrez cross for Schlupp.

I thought James delivery was decent on saturday, far bbetter than anybody else's we have. The way we attack the ball is embarrassing though. Do we actually practice these in training?

Corners are a problem for every team in the modern game it seems. Watching Man City/Man Utd at the weekend I was shocked at the poor deliveries and the number of corners that don't beat the first man. Surely it's just sensible to have a man attacking the near post in case (or likelihood?) that a corner is absolutely guff.

If I was organising an attacking set-piece I'd have someone running to the near post, someone attacking the back post, someone outside the box for anything that drops there, and everyone else in the mixer attacking the 6 yard box, with 2 players back for a counter. That just seems logical to me, and caters for whatever the delivery is. Sounds simple, but I rarely anyone set up like this.

Nobody is running onto a header, they are so static. So even if they win a header they can't generate any pace or direction on it. So frustratingto watch
