ThurmastonFox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 So was there a radio Leicester boycott? I'm stuck in Somerset and after the furore on Tuesday just curious. Pearson in, baps out.
lgfualol Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I didn't realise people listen to the radio now we have streams
AKCJ Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 What was Pearson's BBC Radio Leicester interview like?
Gary Eatfood Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I didn't realise people listen to the radio now we have streams They still don't have electricity in Somerset, let alone the internet.
veezeeblue Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 wasnt one ! Radio Leicester stooped football broadcast at final whistle and went straight to rugby Foxes player just cut out at that point
Buzzell Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 What was Pearson's BBC Radio Leicester interview like? Hopefully he told Stringer to '**** off and die.'
Leicesterpool Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Was there the Stringer Out chant that was mentioned on here sang?
cambridgefox Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Was there the Stringer Out chant that was mentioned on here sang? Not in lower block.
ThurmastonFox Posted 7 December 2014 Author Posted 7 December 2014 wasnt one ! Radio Leicester stooped football broadcast at final whistle and went straight to rugby Foxes player just cut out at that point hmm pre empting a snub perhaps?
LCFC Rennie Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Was there the Stringer Out chant that was mentioned on here sang? Don't think so.
steveherbe Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If there is a boycott, can we make it after Wham and Spurs, as we have tickets? After that, if I never see the feckers again thats fine by me.
Itsthejoeker Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 If there is a boycott, can we make it after Wham and Spurs, as we have tickets? After that, if I never see the feckers again thats fine by me. Have you even read the thread?
steveherbe Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 Have you even read the thread? Oh FFS, this is too easy.
cc_star Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 I didn't realise people listen to the radio now we have streams Exactly, if you can't get & its not on Sky or BT then it's all over the net. No need to put up with Stringer's piss poor commentary and awful interview techniques
veezeeblue Posted 7 December 2014 Posted 7 December 2014 hmm pre empting a snub perhaps? no just that there was nothing left to do but go home or broadcast ranting muppets & mat eliot for another hour bit fishy the lack of comment or warning given though
MattGamble92 Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 If its true that there was absolutely no football coverage after the game then Radio Leicester have to act soon. They can't go on with no interaction from the club
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 In some ways I feel there is always a problem with local media sports reporting, be it radio, TV or newspapers, the problem being they are on such friendly terms with the players/clubs that it interferes with their ability to give honest reports if things are going badly. Stringer seems to have overstepped the mark that is acceptable for local media to cross, and upset the Manager and Club. Both parties should get over it and move on.
Leicester_Numan Posted 8 December 2014 Posted 8 December 2014 If there was an interview but it wasn't broadcast because of the rugby, we'll find out on the moan-in tonight. Sadly, I think the only interviews they'll be getting will be at the pre-match press conference. I wonder if the boycott will go as far as Birch not being on the boot room on Thursdays. If so, with no input from the club, RL will be 100% pointless
