I do, I hate this "it was fine margins", " we were unlucky" rubbish. Better teams take their chances, make referees take decisions, and win game.

Today we were better. We took our chance and scored. They didn't. That's not luck, that's capitalising on opportunity.

You could interpret that who Hull buy is uncontrollable, and the fact he bought a load of old tosh shaped events favorably for us, as it meant then didn't have a good striker.

The squad was already purchased before the match, so there is a control as to who they could play. That limits the randomness, and therefore the 'luck'. We know the formations they can play, and their strengths and weakness. It isn't random, and can be predicted.
