AndWhat? Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 9 lads from Bochum are coming over for our game at the weekend. They arrive in Leicester at 8pm on Friday and leave sometime Sunday morning. Anyone got any ideas on how I can show them what Leicester is all about? Baring in mind the entire weekend must revolve around alcohol..... So from 8pm Friday till 4am Sunday morning how can me and my mates expose them to as much Leicester stuff as possible but getting out of our heads drunk at the same time?! Any suggestions welcome! Plus any ideas for gifts, gonna get them all a bottle of Tiger each, maybe even a pork pie!
BlueJoe Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Stilton cheese, Red Leicester... Richard the third museum... Etc
Bellend Sebastian Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 I was going to say take them to Bradgate Park at dawn on Sunday, then read your post properly. This is probably the very worst thing you could do. The Last Plantaganet opens nice and early. That's probably the second worse thing you could do
Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Just take them around all the town shitholes. No point pretending the city is something it isn't. Plant, Tavern, Goose, O'Neills, High Cross, Bradgate, King Richard, King's Head. Shame they aren't here a bit later on the Sunday could have taken them for a decent Sunday Lunch and showed them a bit of the Shire
Finnegan Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Bradgate doesn't belong on that list now. Take em Taps.
One Legged Beaver Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Take them down Narborough Road for a kebab.
AndWhat? Posted 12 January 2015 Author Posted 12 January 2015 Taps seems like a decent shout, might head there on Saturday. How much do the pints work out at??
Unabomber Posted 12 January 2015 Posted 12 January 2015 Taps seems like a decent shout, might head there on Saturday. How much do the pints work out at?? Not sure as I drink the good beer they have there, if you are going sat evening it might be best to book a table with the tap on though mate.
