SKY TV Gearing up to show every Premier League match?

Recommended Posts

I watch more live football than TV games but I bet I'm in a minority on here, I hardly ever bother to watch MOTD as well

Same here. Not watched a match on TV for over two years now.

Personally I think this would be bad for football overall in the is country. Sky and the Premier league and all its trappings has already done a lot of damage to lower league football in this country, produced a competition only 4 sides can effectively win and inadvertently caused the financial ruin of several clubs including our own. But money talks and this will lead to the richer clubs getting richer and the others poorer.

The only positive would be if it led to greatly reduced match day tickets forced by some kind of rule which compelled all clubs in the top league to use the extra money gained to reduce ticket prices. Ha bloody ha!

Il give it a go... Happy to try something new in the interest of trial and error

.. Iv installed the nbc extra time addon and connected to cyberghost vpn (usa) the addon shows 2 headers... Live & Upcoming & Featured. Is this correct?

Yes. Click live and up coming. If the game is written in blue writing it means it's available now. The stream doesn't start until kick off.

These paid for stream sites are just selling you somebody else's content and are just as likely to blocked/stopped as the free sites. good luck getting your money back if they are.

Then this must be the catch

Call me sad but there is not much better than going to an away match, even on my own.Villa away was on the box,but Basingstokefox kindly sorted a ticket for me even at £41(villa not Basingstokefox )if I lived nearer and didn't have 2 kids I would get a ST?Cant beat it.Luckily there are a few good sorts on here( year of the fox, Basingstokefox ) that have got me a few aways.YOTF even got me a forest away, now which would you prefer .Box or there?Do understand travel with many, but what I'm saying is I probably would get a Sky ST,but would still go to some aways regardless .

Ha, I forgot I'd got you one for that game. Goodness knows how. Not a bad one to make though!

I think i'm gonna wait till SKY or somebody offers me a UK Deal, all legit and above board.

You can download KODI onto your computer if you don't want to pay for a box.

http://www.tvaddons.ag/

It's free and it's a safe site.

For those of you who it does work for, enjoy Leicester's very own Arlo White during the matches that are broadcast on NBC Sports (so not the ones on Live Extra).

Hallalujah. Far too long we have been deprived what the rest of the world gets, every Premier League game live.

Price it right and people will come. The Bundesliga shows every game live and everyone in this country bums that because of its attendances. Get the pricing correct and it won't matter that it's available on TV or the internet because 99% of football fans know that being there cannot compete to watching it on TV. The other 1% are the type of fan those screaming "watching on the telly you're a clunt" don't want there anyway, sitting on their hands.

Supply and demand will tell. It's known that Sky don't actually want this. It will diminish their content because they won't have the best games to show and 380 games would flood the market. Their ROI per game would be much lower too. 20,000 fans watching Leicester-Sunderland on TV if every game was live is not a figure that will hold much weight, especially counting the cost per match and the broadcasting expenditure involved.

If it happens then fantastic. It's about time the home of the Premier League was not treated so inferior in terms of television//internet coverage than the rest of the world. It's the responsibility of the clubs (of all leagues) to ensure that people go to the game and don't stay at home. If you're going to price people out they're going to take the easy option.

Right, I feel like i'm being thick here but how do you get cyberghost on the Rasbmc itself. Downloaded it on my laptop (which itself is gonna be pretty useful) but don't know how to get it onto my Rasbmc, any suggestions?

If I'm understanding you right, you just have to have the VPN running in the background.

I hope you're right about the pricing but I doubt they'll do it. They're already far higher than they need to be.

Okay, so how would i rectify this? Its only my laptop that has the US IP address, checked my gfs laptop and her's is still the original UK IP address.

Again, apologies if I'm being thick.

Does it work on the laptop with the VPN?
