Benguin Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Nugent not even in the squad? Loved him last year, had a few good games this year. But Ulloa is our top goal scorer, Kramaric I believe will be class if Mahrez and Albrighton are playing and I've always liked Wood and would love him to be given a chance.
inckley fox Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 It's either De Laet or Konchesky and De Laet's looked decent there. Hammond's better defensively than Cambiasso and for all the brilliant passes he's attempted to make we've not actually benefited from any of them, and James has been our best midfielder all season. You'd have Albrighton over Mahrez? Or you'd get rid of Schlupp to shift Mahrez over to the left and put Albrighton on the right? No Ulloa because he's a lump half the time and we instantly look better whenever Nugent's on the pitch in the position I've put him in. If I put Nugent there and left Ulloa up top you'd rightly ask why Kramaric isn't in there, and yes he apparently can play that position but, even with the lack of service from midfield, he didn't do anything with the ball whenever he did get near it, which can't be said about Nugent when he came on so I'd rather Nugent play there were he was playing well rather than waiting a few matches before everybody decides to like him again because the alternative isn't as effective. Yes, I'd have Schlupp at LB and Mahrez on the left, switching with Albrighton on the right. I'd go with Cambiasso because, hopefully, Kramaric will benefit from his distribution better than Vardy or Nugent have. But Ulloa - have we given him a proper chance with Albrighton as the supplier and Kramaric as his partner? And he is by far our top scorer, with a very good return for this level, so it seems daft to leave him out.
cjslcfc Posted 31 January 2015 Posted 31 January 2015 Hamer Simpson Wasilewski Huth De Laet Mahrez James Cambiasso/Hammond Schlupp Kramaric Ulloa
daddylonglegs Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 i don't want Drinkwater, Simpson, Vardy, Morgan and to an extent King in our starting 11 in an ideal world. I also want our 1st choice keeper picked when fit Kasper RDL Huth Wasyl Konchesky James Cambiasso Mahrez Nugent Albrighton Kramaric
Stadt Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Pretty redundant thread considering it won't be the same squad each match. Different opposition require different tactics and not to mention suspensions and injuries which will no doubt be inflicted on us. why does pearson change the team??????? why doesn't pearson change the team???????? pearsonite mob come and shout you down for common sense , their love 4 him is more than that for wives
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Hamer Simpson Was Huth Schlupp Mahrez Cambiasso James/Hammond Albrighton Kramaric Ulloa Can't leave Ulloa out - top scorer by a considerable amount and with Albrighton and Mahrez on the pitch swinging balls in he could get a lot more. Nugent as an impact sub.

SecretPro Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 The balance is poor, try again. Any reason you picked my post out? Looks like many of the other teams listed here. Whats yours then? If not my earlier team then I'd go for this: Vardy Vardy Vardy Vardy Vardy Vardy Drinkwater King Vardy Vardy Vardy
Danno Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Why on earth would people want Schlupp at left back when he's been one of our best players playing left midfield. Weirdos.
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Why on earth would people want Schlupp at left back when he's been one of our best players playing left midfield. Weirdos. Yeah it was a punt cuz I felt bad for putting Albrighton in in his place but I needed some end product. I'd probably play De Laet at LB.

Everyone knows Drinkwater and king don't work well together.
Danno Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Also what's all this strange love-in for albrighton all about
SecretPro Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Pah, that's a silly team. Everyone knows Drinkwater and king don't work well together. I though Vardy might get a little stretched having to play CM and CM as well though!
shailen Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Honestly Nugent has to play the next few games otherwise I will question NP team selection
Benguin Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Also what's all this strange love-in for albrighton all about Have you watched any games this year?
StanSP Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Also what's all this strange love-in for albrighton all about Coming on and getting an assist against Utd. Decent performance against Newcastle & Spurs He's an actual winger unlike Vardy The only player in our team who could actually get a decent cross in to the box on multiple occasions Deserves a run in the team especially with Mahrez out. I don't understand why he's not at least given more opportunities to start matches unless Pearson genuinely does see him as an impact sub which is just odd.
Blue will Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 Let's face it we could put together 11 different starting line ups and still not be sure No one really is the first name on team sheet We don't have a best system anymore The manager clearly does not know his best team I am sure we are capable of doing enough to stay up but we are equally capable of going down
Father Ted Posted 1 February 2015 Posted 1 February 2015 If Konchesky, King or Vardy (as a winger) are heavily used, we may as we'll pack our bags and **** off to the Championship now.
