Which of our best players will leave if we get relegated?

Mahrez, Kramaric and James are the only players I can see having offers put in for them. Cambiasso and Schwarzer to leave on free transfers or move onto the coaching team. To a lesser extent GTF and Gallagher to leave on free as well. Knockeart I hope he stays but lack of playing time this year might be why he would choose to leave.

Rest of team to remain and help us try and get promoted again.

Schmeichel

Simpson, Morgan, Moore, De Laet,

Albrighton, James ©, Drinkwater, Schlupp.

Nugent and Vardy.

Still a decent team, and if can learn from mistakes this season then we should do well next year! Personally would make James captain nothing against Morgan just would prefer James as captain.

Cambiasso to be new coach and will stay as player/coach. Only Mahrez I think will be the only departure honestly Kramaric, hmm well as he not playing there might be not too many clubs interested and we want a hefty sum, could be a ploy, don't play him too often this season, if we go down he bag 20 plus goals in the Championship and we gain promotion at the first time in asking, lessons have to be learnt this year and Pearson still learning don't think he make the same mistake twice on the lack of signing.

I think that's the problem. Pearson isn't learning. Nearly 10 mill on a striker and I don't think our team looks any better than the team that started at home to Everton on the opening day. If anything, we look worse.

This is the biggest criticism I have of Pearson this season. He's not showing that he's learning.

I can see Mahrez, Schlupp and Ulloa leaving if we finally fail.

One of the worst aspects of this is that we will have a team comprised of players who are not PL standard (unless Was stays).  The motivation for that team to work their socks off to achieve promotion is therefore likely to be limited.  If we can keep Jeff I would be delighted but there will be three promoted sides looking at him IMO.

I think we'll probably go down but Pearson will be given the first 10 games of next season to see if we can walk the Champ again

Cambiasso to retire/find coaching job elsewhere.

Mahrez to be sold, definitely won't want to play outside top flight and will get offers from a few teams.

Schlupp to be sold (can see a few Prem teams make an offer in Summer).

Ulloa to be sold. Despite a dry spell, will almost certainly get into double figures in league goals, so will be sought after by lower Prem/promoted Champ teams. Probably sold for similar figure we bought for (£8m really isn't much for a striker with any Prem scoring experience)

Kasper sold, mainly for FFP reasons, but with Hamer showing his capability I really wouldn't be too fussed.

Knockaert might hand in a transfer request, but might not find a better deal elsewhere.

Think we'll still have enough left of the core squad to get off to a good start next season should we go down, just pray we can keep hold of Matty James and Drinky finds his feet again

I don't buy FFP being a major reason to sell, a club in our situation must have set wages relative to the league we are in. Or at least a solid plan to balance the books if we go down.

Mahrez, cambiasso (contract) and kramaric or Ulloa only if we receive good offers. In the ridiculous market for strikers Ulloa is worth £8m and remains so.

An overhaul of the defence is required as it is aging

And where are they going to go to. 90% of these players have proved they cant hack it in the Premiership. Kramaric hasn't been given a chance to prove anything. The only ones I can see going are Mahrez and Knockeart and will most likely move abroad. Schlupp depends on what offers come in if any. Kasper may go but he has proved he is not a Premiership goalkeeper. Most of the others will still be in the championship next season either with us or someone else. How long has Gallagher got left he must be one of the highest paid players so that will free more money up.

There must be players at the club who no longer think they have a future at the club after this season. King, Knockeart and Albrighton who haven't featured as much as they would have liked. They know if we were promoted they be squad players at best. They may feel they'd be better off else where.

Think we'd still be able to play with something like this if we were to go down:

Hamer

De Laet - Was - Morgan - (new LB)

Albrighton - Drinkwater - James - Schlupp

Nugent - Vardy

If we go down and this is what we're left with, get ready for a few years in the wilderness.

Say what? That's pretty much the team that got us promoted mate, you're having a laugh right

There is very little commitment to the city of Leicester. Other than those known who don't live here most of the remaining first team rent short term.

Who? We were the only team stupid enough to pay 8 million for him. Our only hope would be a newly promoted team but we wouldn't get half of that fee back now.

Who else could we get for £8million? "Proven" goalscorers cost a lot these days. We went for Pelle, he went to Southampton. We were obviously tracking Ulloa for a long time and 7 league goals in such a poor team at bottom of the division is a decent return for me.

There's very little commitment in football these days anyway. It's not like we're talking about the likes of Izzet here. If we were relegated and certain players want to leave then let them leave.
