Ross-Kemp Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 DB, I'll be on tonight & tomorrow probably about 9pm buddy.
CKB Posted 11 March 2015 Author Posted 11 March 2015 Well a week is enough time to get your games in unless there are extenuating and unforeseen circumstances. If a week isn't enough time then people shouldn't really be signing up in the first place. It might take a few 'seasons' to identify those that can commit and those that can't but I'm sure it will get there - there's already a number of posters that have said they are interested when this season ends That's true mate

Ross-Kemp Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Villa 1-1 Monchengladbach 45 +1 - Benteke 45 + 3 - Kruse
DB11 Posted 11 March 2015 Posted 11 March 2015 Villa 1 - 1 Monchengladbach Benteke 45'; Kruse 45' MOTM: F. Johnson (Monchengladbach) In a drab affair where each team were restricted to few shots it was no surprise that the game ended all square. Villa were kicking themselves at half time when, despite taking the lead in first half stoppage time, they were unable to hold on and Monchengladbach equalised shortly after. The talking point of the game would be Benteke's superb volley that went in off the underside of the bar.

CKB Posted 12 March 2015 Author Posted 12 March 2015 In a top of the table clash we saw Aston Villa emerge the winners in what was a very cagey affair. Benteke had a 1v1 that was well saved but that plus the goals were the only shots of the game. The Aston Villa keeper Guzan didn't have to make a save all match and the stats show Besiktas were limited to only two shots. The goals were against the run of play in a game that was played in the midfield, the ball came to Sinclair who crossed it to the back post were Sanchez nodded it down for Kozak 11' to volley home. The next goal was nearly a carbon copy as Sinclair on the right put his cross in, it was blocked out for a corner and Kozak 43' thumped home a header. The Besiktas boss was clearly not happy with his teams display in the post match conference, he said the big game atmosphere got to his players. The Villa boss while not happy with Hutton's red card in the 90th minute was delighted with the 3ptsIn a drab affair where each team were restricted to few shots it was no surprise that the game ended all square. Villa were kicking themselves at half time when, despite taking the lead in first half stoppage time through Benteke's 5th goal of the campaign, they were unable to hold on and Monchengladbach equalised shortly after through Kruse. The talking point of the game would be Benteke's superb volley that went in off the underside of the bar which you can view below Southampton kept chase on the leading pack with a comfortable 3-0 win over a struggling Marseille side. Mane started a first half goal fest with a goal in the 7th minute, Pelle then made it 2 in the 10th and this looked like it could be a rout for Southampton. Marseille nearly got one back when Batshuayi's headed on to the crossbar but Pelle then made it 3 on the stroke of half time, that's Pelle's 4th goal so far in the league. The second half was easily seen through by the Saints and they eased to a 3-0 winMarseille finally got of the mark with a hard thought 1-1 draw against a Villarreal side which will be rueing the chances they had to win. In a first half that saw a few chances either end it was Uche in the 56th minute that put Villarreal 1-0 up, a shot was saved and Uche powered home the rebound. Marseille wouldn't give up and had be causing Villarreal some problems on the wings and it was from a cross that Marseille drew level as Imbula 59' vollyed home! Villarreal had more chances, the shot count was 10 shots, 5 on target to Villarreal and 4 shots 1 on target to Marseille and it looked like Villarreal would steal the points when in the 88th minute Joel Campbell got the ball and unleashed a shot from 25 yards which smashed against the bar and bounced out to safety. Marseille stood firm and the game ended 1-1

Stadt Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 Shakthar 0-2 PSV Maher and De Jong scored First goal I just wasn't paying attention and for the second I made a terrible mistake playing it short with the keeper, in short I was shít.
CKB Posted 12 March 2015 Author Posted 12 March 2015 We saw Villarreal inflict more misery on PSV with a 2-1 win. It started brightly for PSV when Narsingh burst through the Villarreal defence but put his shot wide in the 2nd minute. Villarreal then took control as a lofted through ball was controlled by Cheryshev and he blasted it into the net to put Villarreal 1-0 up in the 12 minute, Uche then in the 25th minute made it 2-0 as another through ball cut through the PSV defence and Uche calmly tucked it away. The PSV keeper Zoet then made 2 more saves to keep the score at 2-0 going into half time. PSV came out more focused and they were rewarded in the 52nd minute when a cross was delivered from the right and De Jong towered above the Villarreal defence to power his header home for 2-1 and then in the 78th minute De Jong had a chance to level it up as he weaved through the Villarreal defence, was 1 on 1 with the keeper but he put his shot wide, the PSV fans couldn't believe it! De Jong was terrorizing the Villarreal defence and nearly drew PSV level again but his tame header was gathered up with ease from Asenjo the Villarreal goalkeeper. Time slowly ticked away and Villarreal grabbed the 3pts, but PSV fans will be cursing their luck and wondering just how did De Jong not score!

Stadt Posted 12 March 2015 Posted 12 March 2015 I think a draw probably would have been fair, but you created a decent chance and scored so I can't complain really.

CKB Posted 13 March 2015 Author Posted 13 March 2015 Just had a strange moment, was about to play Basingstoke Fox & some message popped up saying my squad file was corrupted & it booted me! I've just had to delete all squad files as I couldn't even play seasons, I think it's sorted now but once again EA you suck
Brenfox Posted 13 March 2015 Posted 13 March 2015 It did that to me when I played you but worked the second time.
CKB Posted 13 March 2015 Author Posted 13 March 2015 It did that to me when I played you but worked the second time. Yeah seems to be another EA issue, I looked it up and it seems the problem has been around since FIFA 13.. You really have to question what EA do at times!
