AKCJ Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 It'd be a shame if he did lose his moral values in the persuit of fun when he grows up. It is quite a bit like murder, you are killing a sentient being, killing is pretty like murder. EH?! lol
cambridgefox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 You're a ****ing vermin, ****.Alright, calm down.ive wet myself laughing.Bit of an over reaction.Do you really feel that strongly about shooting rats?honest question.
Lamby Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Alright, calm down.ive wet myself laughing.Bit of an over reaction.Do you really feel that strongly about shooting rats?honest question. Rats are cute and nice <3
Unabomber Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Rats are cute and nice <3 Words spoken from a true rat.
Merging Cultures Posted 16 March 2015 Author Posted 16 March 2015 No, but hunting animals for fun isn't fun is it? You're killing harmless animals just so you can get a kick. It's a bit like someone coming round to your place, shooting you and then taking pictures of it.Rats, pigeons... Sounds like he is ridding the world of pests to me.
Jaspa Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 I wish people hunted mosquitoes. Is there any biological positive to them in the food chain?
Merging Cultures Posted 16 March 2015 Author Posted 16 March 2015 Have shot 12 bores but I shoot air rifles these days Airarms S410( looks like picture)Rabbits, pigeons, rats.love it. image.jpg What were 12 bores like to shoot?
Stadt Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 I wish people hunted mosquitoes. Is there any biological positive to them in the food chain? , wtf man
cambridgefox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Rats, pigeons... Sounds like he is ridding the world of pests to me.look what you started.its water off a ducks back( dead or alive) if they can't tell the difference between vermin and wildlife which I do enjoy looking at,it's their problem.Lamby did give me it with both barrels though.
cambridgefox Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 What were 12 bores like to shoot?only clay pigeon ,but you do know you've shot one, didn't enjoy it as much. Certainly wouldn't do my dislocated shoulder any good.
David Guiza Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 You a vegan or something?I get that you're almost certainly saying it in attempt to wind Lamby up, but why is that a bad thing?I try to be vegan whenever possible, but it doesn't mean I'm a stick thin, anti everything, militant feminist. As for hunting - I just don't see a place for it in 2015. Plenty of ways to enjoy yourself that don't involve murdering an innocent animal, each to their own though.

I wasn't saying it to wind him up, I don't mind folk who are vegan but I think Lamby literally eats anything yet when it came to people killing their own food he seemed to go nuts. If one eats meat what is wrong with them killing it themselves?
Guest MattP Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 Don't do it anymore but have done some pheasant in my time. Very jealous of Baltimore - game hunting is something I'd absolutely love to do.

If one eats meat what is wrong with them killing it themselves? To be fair I agree, it's fairly hypocrytical to say the least. But, to play devils advocage, so is looking after a dog like part of the family and hunting another animal, but that's life.I don't have anything against meat eaters, I have been for 99% of my life, I've just never understood the digs at people for not wanting to be a part of the meat industry. But yeah, slagging off hunting whilst tucking into your KFC bucket doesn't make a great deal of sense haha.
bovril Posted 16 March 2015 Posted 16 March 2015 I wish people hunted mosquitoes. Is there any biological positive to them in the food chain? Apparently if mosquitoes died out the World would collapse into a new ice age or some shit but I reckon it's worth the risk.

Merging Cultures Posted 16 March 2015 Author Posted 16 March 2015 To be fair I agree, it's fairly hypocrytical to say the least. But, to play devils advocage, so is looking after a dog like part of the family and hunting another animal, but that's life. That is a strange argument. Most hunters are very keen animal lovers. Some game reserves see hunting as necessary to preserve animals through the money hunting generates. And a domestic dog is a very different relationship to that of an animal like a kudu. Kudus taste very nice, not so sure about my skinny terrier.

If you are eating a bird and not picking out shot, the animal probably had a very sad life inside a cage.
