Oh dear Mark Andrews.

Absolutely on my knees for the Bills to win next week.

Don't think I'll bother with the Super Bowl if the Chiefs are in it again. Hate them so much all enjoyment goes out the window

See, I build myself up to watch the Superbowl all year I then live in hope that the chiefs will lose so I end up watching anyway. Then be miserable on Monday lol

3 out of 4 really good games this weekend, last night was great. I do think Barkley should win the MVP award but he clearly won't. Ravens made some horrible mistakes - Jackson was clearly the best player even with the fumble but that won't likely be the narrative. I do like this Bills team though and hope they can beat KC next week.

I've felt this way over a few years but this weekend definitely made me realise it - I haven't disliked a team as much as the Chiefs since the mid 90's Fergie Manchester United. At this point I'm just wanting anyone to beat them and the threepeat would be horrendous.

Mahomes not helping the cause with his classless behaviour - resorting to diving to try and draw personal fouls etc

He doesn't give a shit whether people like him, it's why he's going to win three SB on the trot.

I get the sense that Americans don't put up with classless behaviour in sports as much as we do here in the UK, where for instance footballers are almost expected to dive and cheat their way to success. And the Chiefs are a good enough team to win the Superbowl without resorting to these kind of tactics.

No they're not (this year at least). They haven't looked good this season, they just have an incredible knack for scraping their way through games, often with a heavy dose of assistance from refereeing decisions. Mahomes has been pretty mid-rate if you look at his numbers this year, defence has carried them.

Don't want to get my hopes up for Buffalo as they're the antithesis to the Chiefs, love a big play off choke

Can’t believe I’m going to stick up for the Chiefs…but here goes…

….the Bills had a few potential late hits go in their favour last night. Home field advantage helps and those sides have earned that.

Sticking up for Chiefs should = auto ban.

You're right on home advantage, guess the Chiefs' favourable calls are scrutinised more because they always bloody win.

Lions were at home though and Goff almost got decapitated at one point, not called. If that happened to Mahomes Goodell would probably dissolve the entire other franchise.

Like man united under Ferguson, just doesn't seem fair how often they get the rub of the green.

Homefield definitely helps.

I do think a rule change is needed to try and cut out fake slides - that's not just Mahomes but a fair few other players too and has been happening more often this season. I doubt they are likely to pass any rules that might make it easier for defenders though.

I see the Raiders are going with youth as they appoint 74 year old Pete Carroll as head coach

Not a bad appointment. They're pretty awful and it's a difficult division so they're not going to be winning instantly, good to get someone in who can lay some foundations.

Hope so.

They change head coach more often than I change my boxer shorts.
