Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 It seems very odd that Milan Mandaric has practically said next to nothing in the media for almost 2 weeks. Especially given the horrific incident with Clive Clarke last night. Perhaps i'm reading in to things, but when Milan Mandaric isn't in the media it's usually cause for concern. All is not well by the looks of things.
samlcfc1 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Milan was speaking on east midlands today this morning just after visiting Clive In hospital
davieG Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 As the saying goes It's deafening! Lull before a storm, I can't believe that the JFH fiasco has taught him a valuable lesson so what's brewing in the boardroom?

Yes, i must admit i had been thinking along those lines myself.........its so unlike MM to be quiet even when there is nothing going on, i seriously hope he isn't planning on rocking the boat.
BartonFox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What are you trying to stir up? No problems anywhere, stop worrying.
Bojimha Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What are you trying to stir up?No problems anywhere, stop worrying. Well said

While MA was denying that there was a rift, MM preferred to not comment.
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 What are you trying to stir up?No problems anywhere, stop worrying. So you say and i'm not doubting your knowledge, but others in the know say otherwise. One things for sure, Milan Mandaric doesn't do silences but if he did they'd be the best silences in the world. Seems very odd.
Thracian Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I agree, the silence is deafening. While MA was denying that there was a rift, MM preferred to not comment. You noticed that too then! If I was MA I might already be weighing up my options for the future.
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 Here you go, have some Mandaric noise Pearler.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Here you go, have some Mandaric noise "...and gets on with his football..." :w00t:
MPH Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 "It wasn't something that anyone can accept easily but I think the most important thing now is that he gets out of hospital and gets on with his football." good ole MM umm... i dont imagine he will be playing football again if he has any sort of heart problem...
The People's Hero Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 You noticed that too then! If I was MA I might already be weighing up my options for the future. If you genuinely were MA, I think all Leicester City fans might be weighing up their options for the future.
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 :w00t:     Mandaric must be one of the old schooler's who think a broken leg is also something that can be shaken off Joking aside, it's good to hear from our leader.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 The next person that infers Clarkey has absolutely no chance of playing any kind of football in the future is going to get a smack. We don't know what the fook is wrong with him, we don't know how fooking serious it is, and it's too fooking earlier to draw any conclusions yet. fooking hell... a single player suffers heart failure twice and suddenly the board is awash with highly trained doctors!! :|

Using the evidence available to us, that Clive Clarke needed defibrulation are whatever it's called on TWO occasions in order to survive, I think it's fair to say that this is very serious. And heart conditions simply do not just come and go - so to suggest this might not be serious... or might just be a flash in the pan in naive at best and quite stupid/misguided at worst. The questions is not even one of could he play again - of course he could risk it and play again. Will he want to play again? To be honest with you, if I almost died twice in one day having been playing football, I can't say I'd have the heart or the guts to get back on that pitch and play/train as hard as is necessary.
DB11 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Hopefully MM is just busy with LCFC club matters, or trying to persuade some "big name" players to join Leicester.
lookwhaticando Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Anyone who assumes Clarke will play again is a little deluded as well though Exactly... making firm predictions about his future is a bit daft at such early doors. The first 24 hours haven't passed yet, so it's too early to say one way or another what could happen. For all any of us know, he could be playing against Plymouth at the weekend... seems unlikely, but it's not impossible. He could easily still be in hospital by that time. I'm not saying he will ever play football again... nobody knows that right now (I imagine the doctors don't actually know at this point, either). I'm not ruling it out completely either... I'm waiting for someone to tell us what's going on exactly. It's clearly a very serious incident, but for people to say they're "pretty sure" that he won't play football again strikes me as a bold prediction without knowing much of the facts as yet. I'm waiting for news and hoping the lad gets better. That's all.

Geo V Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 MM is a clever man and he is in the media when he thinks his club will benefit. Pre-season he did all he could to increase season ticket sales and was on SSN every other day practically. Now the season has started he is in the background and letting the manager do his bit. He appears every now and then but you wont see a full on media campaign by him until the lead up to the next transfer window IMO.
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 Think you're looking to far into this personally Ric. I hope so. But going on previous evidence, there's cause for concern.
