It'll serve as the starting point in a series of just two or three polls. We'll have one poll now... and one after the pre-season friendlies... and perhaps one when the transfer window shuts in August. We'll see how our optimism changes as the summer drags on and as the season nears. Wonder if we'll spot a dip in the expectations.

C-man Posted 9 May 2008 Posted 9 May 2008 With regards to LWICD's post, with this squad, 1st. I don't know why but I've got a good feeling. (We can dream, anyway ) Obviously as the summer goes on and we inevitably lose players, I might lower my expectations slightly.

Linekaaaah Posted 10 May 2008 Posted 10 May 2008 With the current squad, I wouldn't expect anything less than 2nd. With a summer clear-out however, a play-off place would seem reasonable, but i'm optimistic we'll keep a lot of decent players, so 2nd at least it is.
