Without being actually sat in the changing room and taking part in training, how do you know that?
-
Preston also started very well last time we were in the championship but they ended up mid table

Well if we scored 1 out of 2 shots....I would say that is pretty clinical... -

You need to have more to your game than attacking with long balls and early crosses in this League and that showed today for Charlton. We showed better quality infront of goal and therefore got the win. We also defended well for 90% of the time but that was probably because we knew exactly what they were going to do. I thought their managers post match interview was embarrassing. The disallowed goal was a clear foul - they tackled Okoli to the ground so he couldn't win that header in his zone which was a pre planned move -
He was definitely putting the effort and showing some fight when he came on today. Hopefully Marti can get him on side as he would be crucial for us season
-
Better at RB but still would be so much better than Skipping in CM
-
Better performance. It was him that broke their press with a great "third man run" and then drove forward with the ball to create the 1on1 opportunity for Fatawu which got us the winning goal.

Nice to see a lot of effort and determination from us when defending for a change -
Solid performance and generally very good from set pieces (apart from one time) Needs to improve his long kicking out though. He's got good quality on the ball so no excuse for his long kicks being so inaccurate
-
Ndukwu always looked like he had decent potential, surprised he didn't have a better career as looks like he has spent most of it in Non-League
-
He wasn't that bad against arsenal last season from memory. Surely if he plays to that level he will be alright in this league and he has pace which helps. Probably another player with personal issues and doesn't want to be here.
-
We will be a different side with Ricardo in the starting 11, a bit like last season and the season before that. Hopefully he's fit to start and play 60mins but this might be a week too soon.

Mads Hermansen sold to West Ham - Official

They seemed to swing all of the set pieces close to his six yard box so I suspect his old manager did a bit of a job on exposing his weakness.... -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

West Ham have much bigger issues than recruiting another No.10. They have Paqueta in No. 10 but their defence is terrible...may even be looking for another goalkeeper... -
He's looked like half the player since he came back from the injury he got last season.
-
What's the financial pressure actually from - PSR? Or due to Kingpower potentially being on the verge of going bust and needing to recover funds?
-
That's the sort of bid that's put in to try and unsettled a player...I don't think Abdul will push for a move though. Seems to have a good attitude and grateful for all the rehab he went through with the club

No where near worth 25million based on his performances this season and end of last season. He's got a very good agent -
That was January though....not a summer window which is very strange Edited...whoops that's actually completely wrong and it was a summer window. Fair play. Hopefully it doesn't follow a similar outcome
-
Can't remember a transfer window ever like this. We aren't going to bring in a single player other than a second choice keeper on a free. We aren't even linked to anyone. The club are probably in a very very bad situation financially so it's probably not just due to satisfying PSR

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)
Kierzz replied to SouthStandUpperTier's topic in Transfer Talk
He is the quarter of the player that Ricky P. Hopefully, we can keep him fit again this season like last time in the Championship and sell Justin -
Manager needs to try to get him on side as he's so important to our team at the moment. However, if that doesn't work and he still has this attitude, he needs to be sold or loaned out before the end of the month. Similar with Faes.

BEK is no where near the level of Eze and has a long way to go to get up to his level. He will probably be on a list of potential replacements...but far down that list. -
Also looking for this if anyone has any recommendations....
-
Give the guy the credit he deserves. By far our best central midfielder at the moment and we have a massive problem if he leaves
