Yep had a good game but really stepped it up to another level when he went into the No.10 position. He should have got two assists for Daka and BEK. We need to sign a decent striker so he can play there more often.

Defence is also looking very good at this level, which is a welcome change and crucial for us to build after how bad it was last season. Gives us something to build off and allows us to stay in matches which we would otherwise lose. Nelson will show his class I think. The Oxford fans rated him so highly. Okoli will also be too good for this level. Faes I think is useless but even he was probably the best defender in the league, the season we went up. And our attack with Mavididi, Fatawu and Ayew cause teams lots of problems at this level. El Khannous is too good so will probs leave. Also I've always thought Cifuentes is a very underrated manager at this level who I think will do very well for us.o I think we will have a very good season

I rate Nelson a lot higher than Doyle and with a far higher ceiling in the game

A Vardy special by Martinez I think. Puts his right foot in between his foot and the ball when he sees the tackle coming to take the contact and go over. He would have never naturally put his right foot in that position as would have drilled it with his left. So he manipulated his position to win the penalty there which is a penalty by the current rules - just like the GOAT won so many pens for us. So fair play and great play by Martinez but can understand the frustrations of Barcelona

I don't think Ricardo has improved but he still looked head and shoulders above any other of our players when he came on. Class above the rest (bar maybe Ndidi). Shows how much worse we are compared to last season when we were a Championship side!

Worst game over ever seen him play was last night against Palace. He was the cause of so many attacks breaking down with poor decisions or execution. However, he is one of the biggest confidence players we have and really does look a completely different player when he has no confidence. It was the same last season when he lost a bit of belief in the middle to end part of the season.

Far better than Mavididi. Never thought I would say this but the team is far more balanced with him in it than Facundo who just runs down blind alleys with no football positioning intelligence.

That was the worst match Mavididi has ever played for us. Championship level player which we will need next season.
