Why do many of our fans overreact to everything?
splinterdream replied to Koke's topic in Leicester City Forum
Puels time so far has been a little strange, we know we have a squad capable of fighting for top 6 place on its day, and Puel had them passing the ball and he was rotating the players and we were winning and now it's all gone wrong, our passing game seems to have gone and to go ahead and lose is frustrating especially when you see klopp on the sideline but in reality we're missing Simpson who's so fundamental to our defense and players form does drop. I did predict us to lose 2-1 yesterday but didn't expect us to go ahead again to then concede. You can understand fans frustration. A manager needs at least 3 transfer windows and then he can be judged, we need to clear out a few players I think before anyone can judge puel on anything -
He had no service yesterday, none. Okazaki was no better

I remember seeing a young striker who got little game time when playing for us and looked garbage when he did play - that player - Harry Kane. I don't understand why anyone would be annoyed he came off with a sulky face, he was disappointed, he probably knew his performance was lacking. I'm sure the lad was thinking when he joined us he'd get more game time than he has, I'm nowhere near ready to write this lad off, watching him in the under 23's I think he'll be brilliant

Young player lauded as brilliant, comes to us and gets little game time, gets a match to prove himself whilst low on confidence, gets slated on FT. Where have I seen this before?????

Carrying out a landlord gas safety inspection and the occupier was looking over my shoulder all the time which was irritating, so I asked sarcastically if he had an interest in gas appliances to which he replied yes and that he was building a house abroad and showed me some plans, I asked what he did for a living and he told me he was a footballer playing for Leicester City - his name was Lilian Nalis, I hadn't recognised him (I tend not to really look at customers). I told him I thought he'd be brilliant for the club, as good as Muzzy, he was very humble and said Muzzy was a very very good player. Think it was before he scored his worldy. I've done work for the birch and sue Pollard as well

Subs at 60 (or bringing Okazaki on) would have made no difference today, too many key players having an off day and Palace were brilliant

Maybe puel wants to free up the wages to strengthen somewhere else, if he's going what's the point of having him in the squad

It's embarrassing the way Sky always ramp up the matches between the 'big' clubs and inevitably they mostly end up crap -
I thought Benny gave the defense something it was lacking with Huth and Wes and that was control. His calmness on the ball was decent and he could make a tackle. His issues were that he would sometimes go missing and could be a little rash. His horrendous tackle is in most defenders locker surely and I think there was more to Shakeys attitude towards him than just football matters, Shakey clearly despised the bloke for some reason so he was never going to get a game. I wanted the bloke to do well and still think he deserves a place on the bench.

Brighton denied a penalty as well. This is pretty bad for Koeman -

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?
splinterdream replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
maybe Shakespeare was looking to mould a team with N'didi, Iborra and Silva in a midfield 3 with Nacho, Vardy and Mahrez. It all sounds so good on paper -

Does anyone think the players look a little unfit? Remember when we were known for shooting out of the block? -

They say that losing games can become a habit as confidence is lost and that spirals into heads dropping however I don't think the players will be suffering from this scenario, I'm sure Shakespeare will be telling them our season starts now and I'm sure will start to gain points now. -

Koeman has to be the next to go doesn't he? -
Have been saying it but I think gray should start all our games against weaker opposition and albrighton against the big clubs where we're likely to have less possession
-
Played very well today, looks to have re-energised, couldn't understand a word of his interview mind

I think we should be expecting 7 points out of the games we've played -

As harsh as it is this could be really good for us and teams like us if he doesn't see match time, he could be used as another example to what happens if you go to these greedy clubs. -
Riyad Mahrez - The great Artist

I thought he was poor, looked like he couldn't be arsed, did he really not see Vardy in acres of space on the left when it was a two on one? hmm, I'm not sure. I hope it was just a poor game from him, think he gets away with a lot more than anyone else would and if i were manager I'm not sure what I'd do tbh. -

I've been going down the football all my life, my dad took me down when I was little, me and my my mates used to go and get a ticket on the night in my teens, I had season tickets during some of the most boring seasons in the championship and now I can't get a ticket. I really don't understand why people are concerned if there's empty seats, it's nice to be able to get some tickets last minute. Didn't we used to get 42,000 at filbert st in the second tier?- 328 replies

Is Shakespeare the right man for the job?

It was obvious our style of play changed as we stood off more, became more defensive going for the 1 nil win, it worked but it was observed the players didn't look comfortable with it, I wasn't calling for Ranieri to be sacked or anything, it just looked like he was trying to impose a style that wasn't going to work with the players we had which gives you that nagging doubt, commentators and pundits picked up on it and I'd rather have been wrong, football after all is great for differences of opinion. Ranieri's tactics may have been what we needed at that time to get us over the line, we'll never know but carrying it through to the 16/17 pre-season it became more obvious things weren't right but many saying then that it's only pre-season and is meaningless, I'm sure you have a different opinion though. -

I had my doubts about Ranieri this time last season, in fact I had my doubts about Ranieri towards the end of 15/16. Now there's doubts and there's doubts so what's wrong with opening up a discussion about those they may have those doubts about Shakespeare? i worry that if the players gave 50% today, that was a total disrespect of the manager and that's a problem. I'm concerned the players are a tight net group that think they have the power to do whatever they like, that in some respects, they're bigger than Leicester city and Shakespeare, after all they may have got rid of the last manager, they could do it again. I also think, if you don't like the thread I don't think you should comment tbh, what's the point, it's a discussion forum isn't it? -
I personally thought our tactics in the second leg were wrong, had it have been me i'd have played Ulloa Vardy and Gray up front with 3 at the back. We needed that goal and if we'd have gone for it in the first half things may have been different. I said this before the match started so it isn't in hindsight but I can understand why shakespeare went with what he did, don't concede and nick a goal.
