  1. I could very easily seeing us in a relegation scrap next season
  2. They cost a fortune as well
  3. I don't remember exactly but remember watching games where he set the side up so defensively that even when behind they just say back and pundits really ripped into him
  4. I was calling for Wagner before start of season but he's made some strange decisions in matches with Huddersfield
  5. This transfer window could be the most important in clubs history, do I trust Puel with the money? Nope
  6. Amartey played for the u23's the week albrighton played at RB which was bizarre
  7. For next season we may need to replace Morgan, Simpson, huth, Benny, Maguire, slim, mahrez, Fuchs, maybe even n'didi if a big club comes in, possibly gray as he's not improving, not to mention those players out on loan, do you trust Puel to build a team?
  8. He's not playing for us anymore though is he
  9. He's probably motivated by making himself a lasting legacy at Celtic, to become their most successful manager or something, he's probably not going to do that elsewhere
  10. Managerial appointments is a bit of a lottery though isn't it? Everybody thought Ranieri would fail, he didn't, the players seemed to respond to shakespeare, it seemed most thought he should be given a crack, Puels promise of developing youth, bring us a new plan seemed a good idea, it's a faith game, they either give Puel money and time or they get rid, unfortunately Puels has not shown anything which will give them any confidence which is why he'll probably be gone
  11. Yep, I think Puels gone now
  12. We have morphed into an England clone
  13. Our play in the final third is woeful, if Southampton put a ball in the box they look dangerous whereas we just float one in everythime
  14. no, i don't think he's any better than we already have
  15. You have to consider what Maguire thinks, when he's made to look a tit yesterday his value goes down, if he's ambitious and the bids come in he's more likely to have his head turned
  16. If Morgan's being played out of sentiment then that's crazy but looking at it it's tricky to find any other reason
  17. A couple of mins to go and we're trying to play football
  18. The stadium needs some spare seats, I have fond memories of me and my mates when we were teens deciding last minute we'd go to the match on a weeknight, at that age you're not going to pre-plan to buy a ticket, this is what gets you into going to the footy, this is what gives you the memories. Think of the young lads that can't get a ticket because all the retired folk or the well off have season tickets, that's the future and they're the ones that will sing their hearts out, they're the ones that'll create the atmosphere and at the minute they're being shut out
  19. I'll be buying 3. Was a season ticket holder for years, stopped for a while whilst i studied with the OU then had my daughter and now can't get one so more than welcome news, can't come soon enough. Didn't we have 45k at Filbert St when it was standing?
  20. I was there, brings shivers down my spine, really miss that atmosphere
  21. England are slow and boring with their passing build up play, they haven't got the creativity to do damage to other teams imo, if we played with pace on the break we have a chance and Albrighton is exactly what they need. Southgate sets England up to play like a top 4 side but forgets we're missing those players like Hazard, Salah or De Bruyne that actually penetrates defenses and causes panick, some might say there is sterling but he just doesn't seem to thrive in an England shirt.
  22. Loved the rooster, never failed to get us that goal off the bench
  23. Still haven't received mine
  24. hoddle was actually blaming vardy for not having a touch, saying he should get into the game....
  25. I was hugely disappointed after 15/16 when we couldn't attract top end players, I thought we'd broken into the top 6, possibly top 4 but it couldn't have been further from the truth. It was quite depressing when you have pundits saying our win was a freak and will never happen again. As a football fan you have to have faith, faith that we'll win the league, win the cup, be a top 4/6 club, without the faith it's not the same. It's quite clear our club has a problem attracting top players due to location, stadium, facilities, wages, reputation, style of play. I'm happy that owners/manager are trying to change those things to bring us a chance of those things i mentioned, Puel is trying to change our style of play, he's trying to give our young players a chance, what do you think he should be doing? Carry on playing on the counter with all players from 15/16? It couldn't continue, something had to change, our performances were bound to dip as a result
