I think Puel is trying to do something more than just winning games, he's trying to make us a more desirable club to play for.
-
give him lots of money and a 5 year contract please

I'm pretty happy with our season so far - Am I mad?

as long as we keep building I'm happy, offer Riyad and Jamie a massive contract each and get Europe and I'll be over the moon -
Leicester 1-2 Chelsea (AET) Post-Match

Thought we played well today, Chelsea were on the ropes so disappointing not to take them, We moan about Chilwell not knowing what to do when he comes forward but compared to Simpson, I thought Fuchs was more suited to play today. Kasper made a mistake and it cost ud but made a great save earlier which could have cost us not getting the extra time, I think Kasper is still a really good keeper. I was surprised when Puel made no more changes in extra time, it was clear we needed fresh legs but shouting for his head is ridiculous, lets see what he does in the summer and there afterwards. On a plus 7th spot probably a European place, let's go get it -
Very strange performance from nacho, looks like he has a hangover, wouldn't have played chillwell who has proved me right
-
I'm the same so probably nothing to worry about

Premier League, 2017-2018 Season Thread

I would love it if that man got the job -
Absolute shame you didn't stick with it, one of the best games I've ever played next to Dark Souls. The first level is like a wall, it's designed like this but once you pass it it's so satisfying, If you struggled just view a guide

maybe puel is under pressure to change our playing style quicker than is possible
-
That's a good point though, shouldn't the manager play the best method with the best players he has rather than playing players not so good to suit a style he wants. We looked so much better playing not to the puel style in the second half today
-
Danny Simpson is the best in the prem at defending down that right side but anything else he's lacking, if he was half decent at those tasks he'd be playing for the top 4. I can't understand why when we play a back 3 we use Fuchs instead of Simpson, a far better defender
-
3 in the middle only works when you have a creative ball playing attacking midfielder, at the moment we don't have one unless you count riyad as that player

A red card for me, foot high, studs showing, not under control, all say red card

I don't have the greatest memory but I'll take your word for it, I only really remember the atmosphere getting bad everytime he messed up, being not the best at football myself I felt for him. -

Junior Lewis was a real strange one, remember seeing him on his debut and when the ball came to him he just looked to panic and seemed to have no control at all, don't know what he had over Taylor. -
Metro Manila is a very good film, also Old Boy (korean version).

What retains Leicester from becoming top 6

He's very young though isn't he, he'll get better and better which is why we should tie him down now -

even if you produce top 6 players and have a 50.000 seater stadium, it's retaining the players from the others. -
Why oh why did we persist with trying to pass it through them, the only glimmer of hope was when Kasper was kicking the ball forward and we pressed the ball in their half which we did 10 minutes from the end of the first half, in the second half we went back to the passing it out from the back again. I think this may have been Puels instruction and Kasper was frustrated, all guesswork of course

WTF was Puel smoking at half-time???
splinterdream replied to cc_star's topic in Leicester City Forum
I agree there, we should have gone route 1 and iborra perfect for that -

Silva may have had a knock -
The only way you get success against these is attack them

I think we need to play the long ball and press them in their half, they're too good at pressing the ball for us to try our passing game. I think they started to play those tactics 10 mins at the end of that half
