No chance. Fatawu, Winks and Pereira stand out. Possibly Monga too. The rest are cloggers, barely competent on a good day. Other teams around us have spent years building teams specifically for competing in the Championship. We're relying on the residual quality of a squad of serial failures, who largely think they're a lot better than they are. Blame Cifuentes if you want, but the damage was done in the summer.

This isn't a squad, it's a rabble. Until we let a manager sort that out, we're going to be going around in circles.

I want us to get promoted but the flip side of that is the likes of Vestergaard, Winks and Faes (and a few others) get their relegation clauses reversed and their wages bumped back up. That's about £250k/week on players that are plainly not good enough for that level. It will hamstring us by eating up a massive part of the budget and not letting us implement a proper wage structure.

I went to Rome recently, and in one of the restaurants the service was absolutely terrible. Everything was slow and he forgot all about our drinks. We genuinely didn't have enough cash on us for a tip but usually specifically ask to add it to the bill. This guy was harassing us and telling us there's a cashpoint 10 metres away. Normally, I'm quite generous with tips and will give a good tip for average service but I was so pissed off, I just said no.
