  1. shtop, it's not ready yet!
  2. He referenced it at half time of the Fulham match last season. Still can't watch the highlights of that game.
  3. I thought the recruit from the Commonwealth stuff was just a way to win votes from those communities.
  4. RIP Micky. Didn't use BR much but browsed it from time to time and enjoyed some of the threads
  5. EU migration is significantly down though I think, which is what people wanted.
  6. St James' Tav in Soho always seems to have football on too.
  7. The Maple Leaf in Cov Garden should be showing it. Think the Porterhouse might do as well, on the same street
  8. Close to king's cross, Mabel's Tavern is nice and will have the game on. Popular with football fans in general. Lots of places in Soho show football but they never look like the nicest pub.
  9. I had false awakenings constantly for about two years of my life. Sometimes they were quite scary as I felt I was trapped in the dream. Then one day they just stopped, haven't had one for about 16-17 years. Very weird.
  10. The Next / Grexit / Italexit people in the UK remind me a bit of Pearson fans on here certain that the guy's going to get another club promoted anytime soon
  11. Yeah it's a sad place. I always go to the beer festival at the brewery and I just hate driving through. Lynn's a bit better. Nice old town and slightly more upmarket. But still too many wasters and rogues.
  12. Once brought an American friend to King's Lynn. She is one of those annoying "everyone in small town England is a dangerous inbred" type of Yank. Unfortunately we were playing Boston United that day.
  13. Living just over the border in Norfolk I sometimes feel bad for Lincs. After all we sometimes have a bad reputation too. But much of that county really is hellish.
  14. Looks like we're not too bad really
  15. Wisbech. They call it Wizbekistan which is insulting to the 'stans.
  16. Vaguely remember Adams saying in an interview he always told his squad "2 up is a dangerous score" although he neglected to add "with 90 seconds of injury time to play".
  17. He was a steady hand and clearly a good motivator in 02/03. Our squad that season though was definitely top two in the league. Perhaps I'm being harsh on the guy but I think he was quite tactically inept which wasn't found out in early 2000s div 1 like it would be now. And then in 03/04 we basically threw away what should've been a mid table finish. I wish him nothing but the best though.
  18. Boston. No wonder the pilgrims ****ed off
  19. I was referring to 03/04. He definitely did not have to work in the PL with nothing. We had more than enough to stay up. Adams I think is overrated by our fans because he was a nice guy in a difficult situation.
  20. Adams had a good quad and we should've done better that season. I like the guy but tactically he was poor at that level.
  21. Nottingham always has an air of menace to it
  22. One of my earliest memories is extremely vivid ('3D' to go back to a previous post) hallucinations of monsters walking and talking on my bed. Was probably a fever or something. I think it might be common. Spookiest thing that's happened to be is finding a smashed bulb still in the lamp at my girlfriend's flat, and neither of us having any idea of how or when it happened. No shattered glass about either.
  23. Yes. Anybody who has a spare choose me over this monster
  24. Eurostar flash sale on atm
