Looking through the comments on his Instagram post and you can see all the players he’s played with wishing him luck, shows how loved he is amongst his professionals. Glad he’s found a club and hopefully works out for him!

I think a big part of that is the mental side. Dropping out of CL places last season would have crushed them and personally I think mentally they’ve upped a gear.

People’s problem is they expect him to play the same as Vardy when he clearly can’t. He’s his own player with his own attribute and strengths and showed that today.

The issue with Slimani was that he was always brought in to play second fiddle to Vardy when he’s an out and out number 9. Playing them both together with Slimani dropping as a number 10 was never going to work and if you had to choose one over the other it’s always going to be Vardy. I don’t think he’s a bad player at all, people are making out he’s a Roman Bednar mk2.

Some decent stuff still about there. Heads up that the clothes seem to be slightly bigger than usual sizes, like I’m usually a XXL, but those sizes seem more like XXXL same for XL to XXL. Maybe just me 🤷🏽‍♂️ Queue is massive when I left at 9.30, so you’re looking at a good 1.5 hour wait I reckon.

I’d have Slimani on the bench especially if we’re going 2 up top 🤷🏽‍♂️ If he’s happy to play that role his aerial ability could come in use.
