The sample size is just too small to compare them tbh. 10 games has to be the absolute floor for comparison. Alves I reckon will be around the 0.3 - 0.4 xG+xA per 90 mark which is absolutely fine for his age (and lack of minutes generally). I really wouldn't be surprised if he started over Mavididi next season.
-
He’s started three games and set up a nailed on goal. If he hadn’t have been injured he’d probably have a few more goal contributions by now - in a poor side too.
-
Fresh blood into a fanbase is what makes the difference atmosphere wise, plus low attendance so like minded fans can group together. We haven't had the former because ST availability hasn't been there since 14/15. The club did the absolute bare minimum for the latter too. Hopefully we get safe standing one day and that does lead the necessary churn.
-
This is absolutely bollocks and a few others spout it too. Tigers' support comes from the whole of the midlands (plus Sheffield, Peterborough, Cambridge etc) and their attendances have never been particularly close to ours. Tigers are the biggest Rugby club in the country and can't hold a candle to the probably the ~12th biggest football club.

The decline has been chronic rather than acute but our league position hasn't necessarily borne that out. We were good behind closed doors which fostered a lot of goodwill so Rodgers from the tail end of 21/22 to 22/23 - didn't really get any grief despite how poor performances were. We've almost had the perfect storm for apathy rather than anger. I'm so conflicted by wanting us to hit rock bottom because the people at the club deserve it.

Midlanders are pretty reserved and stoic generally, then we have what’s possibly the least urban fanbase in the country. Partly by accident, partly by design we have a very lower middle class fan base. Perhaps not representative but I know far more City fans that live outside of Leicester (excluding the county) than live in it by probably 5:1.

Just wages we shouldn’t be paying when he’s invariably injured. His wages per 90 must be astronomical
-
I love Ricardo but we should sell if the right offer comes up (Perhape unlikely). He’s just too injury prone and his deal is up next summer.
-
Both Iversen and Ward’s contracts are expiring. I wouldn’t be surprised if we gave Ward a new deal. We’ve turned down deals for Iversen too despite being in PSR trouble. Two strong case studies in RudKing Power Decline.
-
Be careful what you wish for. We didn’t play Manchester United for 10 years until King Power came and badly ran the club until they appointed the manager they forced out in the first place

They just talk about ****ing refs anyway

We had thousands at the Arsenal protest. It's not true "we don't have it in us", all of the usual cited teams will have a proportion of happy-clappers who won't protest too. We probably have a higher proportion of low-info, anaemic KPFC fans than other clubs do but there absolutely is enough appetite for it. It just needs organising s=and a bit of courage.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

Must have the worst xG per game of any manager in PL history. There’s a lot of problems beyond the manager at the club but he is useless - we wouldn’t be this bad with Steve Evans in charge. -
I couldn’t get over the coach selfies
-
There were multiple 4-1/4-0 games which means they blurred into one. Yakubu and the De Laet (bizarrely) goals stick out.
-
I dislike them, they’re rivals and there’s more riding on games against them than everyone bar Coventry next season. I don’t think I could say I hate them though. Humbling them in the 10s was great.

Comparable record with Steve Kean. He's a crap PL manager. Even in the championship he managed: 6th with Guehi, Gallagher, Andre Ayew 4th with Gyokeres, Rodon, Ayew, Hourihane, Conor Roberts, Gibbs-White but still.. Obviously those players were much younger then -

We're even bad at arranging loans. It's not an ideal proxy, but over the last 5 years we're probably 6-8th for academy profits which says we're doing something right, (Chilwell, Barnes, KDH alone c £120m). Then, there's barely any interest from top end League 1 and Championship clubs for our players? I just don't buy it. Our young players have to ladder loans up the league like we're West Brom or Coventry not a club with one of the best facilities in the world. Even the 3 aforementioned players had break through loans at 21 or so, they did have a few pottering around picking up a few appearances before their standout options but why does it take us so long? I can't prove it but it feels like if Alves and Braybrooke came through at Villa they'd have been at midtable Championship clubs at 18 or 19. Jacob Ramsey had a brief spell at Doncaster then started 6 PL games the following season. They also hawked some of their fringe youngsters for decent profits and PSR swindles too, something we never. Archer (after activating a buy-back clause) and Philogene went fro about £40m massively alleviating PSR concerns. Chukwuemeka went for £15m or so at 18 and he'd made 3 starts. Even just a couple of starts can massively inflate a fee. If Monga or Alves had put in Ayew, or Mavididi or BDCR's performances you;d have some people saying they'd never make it. Nwaneri has proved that age isn't a direct barometer of ability. Just play them. Even if it's for 20 minutes, we don't have a development ethos when we have the most influential academy director in world football - more proof he is useless.
-
Again, I’m almost sorry to labour the point but Rudkin has more influence at Leicester than an academy director/head of development does in world football. That he doesn’t actually use his influence for the academy’s benefit is just absolutely typical. It should be written into managerial contracts that you have to give x% of minutes to academy products.

It’s also why 09-15 was so enjoyable. It was a likeable, rag-tag bunch enjoying the apex of their careers with us.
