Saw a burnt out car by Braunstone park the other day, very noughties

I’ve only had the lunch menu there but by far the best meal I’ve ever had. Sometimes I’m very tempted by their posts about cancellations on instagram but a c. £200 meal out for two is just overly decadent (for me).

Only thing that is missing imo is good restaurant that sits somewhere between an Indian restaurant and a Michelin starred one I suppose Quorn is only 5 minutes away

Pearson did a reasonable job at Bristol City and began clearing out the decks. He managed upwards incredibly well and he’s the only contact in Top’s phone book with the remotest clue and willingness to help

Good bye shit jester

Appreciate the insight

The worst thing is the overspending was bad in purely a sporting sense - we broke limits to get worse. Chelsea, Villa, Forest have flown too closely to the sun but they bought lots of good players. We’ve failed it and spent hundreds of millions on wages on shit players

This is key thing to decide, continue with boycotts or step up matchday protests - or a hybrid.

Went to Gurkha New Delhi for the second time on NYE. First time was good but nothing out of the ordinary, bit it was excellent the other day. All 4 of the starters we ordered were exceptional and the Goan lamb was super too.

It'll be the fault of the negativity inside the ground in the fanbase instead. If we just got behind this woefully underprepared, under-equipped waster squad and the mediocre manager and ownership we'd batter teams -
A spawny win against Derby took the heat off a little. If we won a couple in the intervening period the sting is already taken out of it. Boycotting should transcend results but that's not the reality we're in - yet
-
It's already been picked up by segments of the media. People in essence are already boycotting because things are so bad - we've seen the lowest home attendances in years. Away games are a non-starter as maximum of 3k can go anyway, the Derby game was too soon, Oxford too far.

The most senior business head within the company is the FD, somebody who was promoted from within a business that has lost about £400m from £1.2 bn in turnover over 7 or 8 years. We're going to start hearing some of the shit that's been going on behind the scenes as staff morale tanks with late payment of wages.

We drop 4 positions a season on average under Top. Even if we finished 13th now (no chance), at the same clip we’ll be in L1 in 3 seasons time. If we were relegated this season, dropping 4 positions a year we end up in L2 in 6-7 seasons. The likelihood is there would be multiple deductions in there so it’d happen even faster. Plainly, this is a fight to stay in existence and we could make Sheffield Wednesday look like Brighton in running a tight ship.
-
Put it this way, Top inherited a club 2 years after pulling off a miracle and finishing in our highest ever position - 1/92. In his first full season we finished 5th. Now, with a deduction looming we could realistically get relegated into League 1, breaching PSR/FFP …AGAIN and starting on minus points in the third tier. Without a doubt we’d finish lower than 45th /92, our previous lowest finish. Ruling out sabotage because he has been bothered in the past, it’s maximally negligent and incompetent to take a club from its highest position to its lowest, generating over £1 billion in revenue in that time. He isn’t going to get the brains, the nous or a team together that can to arrest this decline. It was much easier to sort this out a few years ago, he didn't do it then - he won't when it's getting it’s harder by the day. We’re sleepwalking into administration, meanwhile he’s promoted the architect of the downfall and a glorified Customer Services Manager is running a £100m+ (for now) turnover operation.

Baby Squad for the Nepo Baby is a development I wasn’t expecting

Our managerial recruitment just gets lazier. When Cifuentes finally gets the boot I don’t even think we can’t temp GON or Martin it will be a Wasserman client. Gerrard would be about the best we could hope for, Rowett probably much more realistic. Imagine after winning the FA Cup positing that Gary Rowett could be our manager not even 5 years later.
-
Exactly why it was chosen
-
Even on here, the most astute fans we have - there is a tendency to assume the club know what they’re doing! We have a clueless absentee owner, an incorrigible moron DoF who has been over promoted (again) and a widget buyer as interim MD.

Scoring a few screamers was not representative of his game at all. Just a purple patch and that performance today was more like normal service - Page showed far more in his cameo. -
More like a PL club starts tempting him and Rennes
-
He’s scored against a crap Leicester side - the heir to our greatest ever player!
-
That and the Millwall away goal are probably the two single worst bits of defending I’ve ever from a Leicester player.

Our fullbacks/wingbacks aren’t suited to it at all which the problem
