I had a Landlord, there was a golden ale from Hobgoblin/Wychwood (iirc) and completely blanking on the other cask option. Lager I don’t think changes much there

I guess they and the promoters will have crap sales data to back it up. Saw Gengahr in the smallest room at the 02 a few years ago and I'd be surprised if thee was more than 40 people there. Saw Declan McKenna at a half empty DMH the other year too. Derby is landing lots of gigs with their new venue...

Went to Babelas, Hopology (Leics pub 278) and the Clarendon on Friday. Babelas now does Camra discount and they applied it to the lager in the round as well I think (??). Two pints under £10 in one of the best front rooms in city.

Loved Efes Mangal every time I've been.

Got an Underworld ticket for Brixton in March for my birthday so it’s already looking busy next year!

Sorry to hear this chaps. Gutting.

Sorry referring to KP there

Top owns the club personally, now they have a competent CEO there will be no multi-million bailouts. In League One the losses are unsustainable, he’ll be far more hated than he already is, he’ll have to sack a load of non-playing staff, the media attention on his negligence is worse. I don’t think he necessarily sells the club either but it becomes financially untenable over the long term
-
Shit player but he’s an excellent pro which makes him more of an asset than 18 or 19 of our players.

If the financial hit is big enough to force Aiyawatt to sell then yes.

I live in Mountsorrel and went into town on Thursday evening. It took about 50 minutes on the bus - it’s 6 miles ffs.

90+ points last season not to be sniffed at

Yeah - personal terms have to be agreed still

Loads turned their noses up at Wilder in the summer, would have liked him here.

I don’t like Storey generally but that article besides one oversight is almost on the money. He lives in Loughborough - he’ll know clued up fans. It falls short of actually blaming the owner though which is what makes it a milquetoast piece

Speaking of good London boozers, the Lord John Russel at King's Cross does some pints for under £5. Can't remember if I mentioned it (proabbaly did). Nice sort of locally pub that really shouldn't be so cheap based on its surroundings.
-
I do like some Sam Smith’s individually - Cittie of Yorke was great (although £15 for two pints was steep even for the City). Just in the aggregate they take up a lot of real estate.

I always think the signage by the clock tower would make a good avatar for @bovril -
London is great for pubs it’s just slightly annoying there are so many Greene King, Nicholson’s and Sam Smith’s. With the right recommendations it’s the best pub city in the world and without them it’s a completely flaccid, expensive and dull place to drink.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

We only wanted extremely dodgy sponsors and essentially forced out the Chief Exec. If you take that to one of a few logical conclusions it stinks of underhand deals. -
I'm sure some will be offended by the idea they're a guilty pleasure at all - but I never grew out of liking Linkin Park

Banzuzi isn't getting very many minutes at Leipzig. We were linked before (ex-Leuven), a loan in January would be great.

The big problem is getting people in from the county to sustain entertainment/leisure facilities, bars, pubs and restaurants especially midweek. The city centre is a nightmare to drive into, just the sheer volume of traffic, bus and cycle lanes eating up capacity (self-created council problem) and so few rail links. Instead of trying to create an additional platform or sorting out the Ivanhoe line spur, the City Council thought - let's knock down the Parcel yard without a contractor lined up to redevelop the station all to... put some more shops in?
