I said in another thread but he’s like a deluxe Fryatt. Quick feet but slow, competent in the air but not a targetman and a very tidy finisher.
-
Cooper getting sacked early did his rep no end of favours. Had he gone 5 games later he’d be more reviled like he should be
-
Ricardo perhaps, prior to Farawu’s injury he was on the bench mostly

Glad Cooper has been mentioned multiple times. Inherited a talented squad that had just won the Championship, it contained lots of players that had performed in the PL previously, oversaw our record net spend on dross like Skipp, Ayew, Reid and Edouard. We were incredibly shit in his games, the Forest home loss whilst they were chanting his name was disgusting. Somehow we kept scabbing points and 4 points at 10 men Southampton and Ipswich (two of the fellow worst sides in PL history) papered over the fissure. He ignored Fatawu and Ricardo for most of his tenure too. RVN was shit but the damage had mostly been done.

Best Leicester 11 of your lifetime (in terms of ability)
Stadt replied to BenTheFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I wasn’t old enough to have watched them but I’ve always been under the impression Elliott was the better player between him and Walsh -
Is there a good highlights vid of him anywhere? I haven’t seen one

How much money has King Power invested in LCFC?
Stadt replied to DJW1's topic in Leicester City Forum
That's owned by King Power Holdings and was bought from a pension fund so not a direct investment into the club. -
Looking back, cold approaching somebody and saying "Are you [Foxestalk username]?" is a bit unhinged

I met Lako at Roma away, I know what he looks like but I don't know his name - if I bump into him at some point I'll let him know we all owe him a pint

Wrexham?

Maurice this number 10 Jordan Ayeuseless is the worstest forward I have ever seen

Stolarcyzk Ricardo Okoli Nelson (by the the end of the season) Thomas Skipp James Monga (by the end of the season) Ramsey Fatawu Carranza

You need drinkers to sustain pubs midweek beyond the weekends. Demographically Leicester can’t do that. Fewer drinkers, exorbitant costs through NMW, NI and business rate increases plus ballooning energy costs - it’s nightmarish for pubs
-
We addressed the 3 areas we most needed players. James I think is an absolutely excellent signing, exactly what we needed and if £5m is the purchase option - bargain. Carranza, even if he ticks over at 1 in 3 it’s a big improvement on Ayew. Ramsey, if he has a full season playing like he has in his short loan spells then we’ll go up. Outgoings - we did well to get as much for Justin and McAteer, few other decent sales but we didn’t clear the decks well enough. 7/10.
-
What’s the future fee, £5m? I’d be happy with paying close to double that tbh.

Happy Birthday to former fox Fernando Pasquinelli 🎉

Looks beautiful but it can still be boring. Lots of Italian towns and cities have very little in the way of leisure amenities

Didn't we loan out Perez when he had 6 months left?

Woyo Coulibaly (gone to Sassuolo on loan, official)

Who could have guessed it would pan out like this -
He was £23m, significant but not a particularly noteworthy fee in the context of the modern PL. We didn't spend more than Akinbiyi's fee until we bought Mills or potentially even Ulloa. Akinbiyi ended up playing for Colwyn Bay!
-
Akinbiyi scored 13 goals in 67 games and inflation adjusted (by transfers, not real terms) costed about £15m. Daka has 23 goals and 15 assists in 63 starts (126 total - mostly sub appearances) and cost about £23m. It's not like he's ever been unprofessional or been totally shit from the outset, it's not worked and his career here has tailed off after a total loss of confidence. Most of it has been the club's doing tbh.
