  1. The proximity to the river and central London is what sets it apart from those other areas. Amazing the Pride of Pimlico still exists
  2. Salt mine is the best tourist attraction I’ve ever been to. If you’re dead set against it two days is plenty, surprisingly small
  3. He wasn’t found out last time in the championship - he finished strongly. Goals were what he was lacking, if he even ticks over at 1 in 4 with his creativity he’ll have a fantastic season.
  4. You can’t have everything in a keeper. His distribution is fine, not perfect but the rest of his game more than makes up for it.
  5. Smash and grab against Charlton
  6. Are people really doing the 1:25 good to bad ratio thing and praising the 1 again? Etch-a-sketch-memories
  7. Eclipsed by social media - they’ve adapted to this by shoving on social media shock jocks. Give us the insight that only legacy media channels have access to - not more of the same
  8. They’ve really underexplored the edge case places, like you’ve said they did Alsace but not Südtirol and Romansh speaking parts of Switzerland etc. I suppose if you pick contestants that are too clued up it makes for bad TV
  9. Certainly hasn’t lived up to the promise. The Venice episode was completely tepid TV, the travel is interesting dynamic and not remembering what colour somebody’s shoes were. The Brummie girl is a shit-stirring twat
  10. But we will lose a lot of height if he goes
  11. Doesn't have the all round game to be an effective striker in 202_, decent positioning and finishing from a wide position isn't enough to translate into being a 9. Far too limited in possession to play centrally, the reason he plays out wide is because that's what suits him best. He had a purple patch early on in 23/24 and he's not showed anywhere near that efficacy since then because he's not particularly fast, a poor dribbler and chronically uncreative. He's likeable because he grafts and he can finish but it's not enough. £5m+ represents a great deal for us.
  12. There is a player out there
  13. I don't think clubs, particularly those abroad are that attuned to the environment at Leicester. They'd see the opportunity to loan a youngster at a club desperate for players competing at the top end of the league (on paper) - there's a strong chance of significant minutes. The atmosphere at the club may be a caveat with any potential loan but you'd rather your player was at Leicester playing under Cifuentes than at Hull or Swansea.
  14. If he stayed he'd be looking at a 10+ goasl and 20+ assists but in our situation we can't turn down > £30m. If we get Rego in with a loan to buy option it seems fairly smart.
  15. Should have been going hell for leather for loans.
  16. James, Happy Mondays and The Lightning Seeds in Colchester on Friday
  17. I think Rudkin is - his total lack of agency and foresight mean he just doesn’t have the skills to meet the elite football DoF threshold. Whelan has just checked out.
  18. He is a sharp guy - the lack of communication isn't through incompetence
  19. Actually it was 14, if you search Ginetta 14 in a search engine you'll see an update
  20. FT has a reasonable sample size and it’s largely comprised of the most engaged fans we have. If you had a cross section of a business that made up say 1% of the most interested customers, you’d pay pretty close attention to what they were saying and implement off the back of it. The club don’t
  21. There were 11 people at their AGM
  22. I'm not sure if there's ever been a similar thread. In essence post songs you feel like influenced a band later on, sans the very obvious publicly stated influences. Hard not to think Kasabian thought a lot of this

  23. I think if I got an age where I couldn't stand for 90 minutes I'd take the view of I've had my fun and leave it to those that can. I find it hard to believe Leeds, Wednesday, Man United, Forest, Birmingham etc don't have older fans that have been going for decades, it's just that they either can't or don't want to go because their ends are too virile - or they join in anyway. Our ends could be renewed with a fresh impetus of younger fans but the club's idiotic pricing, priority and sales procedure stops them acquiring enough points.
  24. I’ve more than doubled my money on EEE. 153.63%
