  1. The club work on the mantra of less is more. Give out less information, there’s less to hold them to. If you have a target, you’ll be responsible for achieving it. If you have no announced target, there’s no clear defined responsible person. I still say some of it is cultural. Their position (and the version of democracy) in Thailand means there’s no notion that it’s good to communicate. Within that they are surrounded by largely corporate drones, who have very little feeling for Leicester as a city, let alone a club, so keep the silence, we are getting paid well whatever. That our top hierarchy is full of long servers and very few with the ambition to work elsewhere speaks volumes. Don’t upset the apple cart
  2. £6.9m on Soler as well - one of the few available Argentine U20 players not at one of the big Argentine clubs. Excellent deal.
  3. Alongside that interview from Wolves CEO earlier this season. In other examples of communication by clubs not doing so well, here's Leeds CEO explaining the sales over the summer and the disappointment around no promotion.
  4. Berlin booked for June - I tell you (I didn't book them as they were so expensive) but I think Easyjet nearly has the perfect flight times on Friday-Monday for a weekend away for Birmingham to Berlin.
  5. All smaller clubs to ours in my opinion. Wigan and Bolton’s attendances are wildly inconsistent. Pompey a solid second tier club but at best pull in 20k your point is valid tho
  6. There hasn't been a clear statement of ambition for some time. I don't know the clubs actual ethos or their outright target over the next few years. The appointment of managers has a couple of lines attributed to Top. This nothing ref: Ruud "It is my pleasure to welcome Ruud to Leicester City. He joins a Club with a rich history, passionate supporters, and a talented squad, and we are all excited to see the impact he can have as we embark on this new chapter together. Ruud’s experience, knowledge, and winning mentality will undoubtedly bring great value to us, and we look forward to supporting him in achieving success for our fans and our Club." The latest statement of substance was from Whelan following the financial results in 2024. The latest publicly open statement from Top was in 2023 with the only the vow to be back in the Premier League a notable statement and it even includes this statement '"Over the coming days and weeks, we need to reflect on the processes and decisions that have brought us to this point. What we learn from this experience must convert into action that makes us stronger and prevents this happening to us again in the future.'' I don't know the clubs plan. Even the financial accounts don't have an outright ambition within them.
  7. Thought it was completely worth the Beckett v Legend banter tbh

  10. It's just I have seen commonly used in certain sports which have a select field in series type competition. Speedway, rugby sevens come to mind. The encouragement for the individual is money, the glory and effectively to create enough hype to make them an option for next year's PL circuit. I wouldn't have a table/playoff system - I'd have a point system. Maybe if you wanted to open it up, have 12 players? Players 5 to 12 have to play a qualifier in an afternoon session.
  11. I am a big fan of Deadpubs - Adam Curtis / London pubs mix-up
  12. Was a big fan of that video of his little minion filming him - made it look as pathetic as it is.

  14. And there was no suggestion of anything else. I was merely saying that it's probably where Maguire's gets the club is confident line.
  15. Should have wild card's every week - ie. local favourite or player in form.
  16. What’s loose lipped about saying ‘the club are confident’?
  17. I just said he's likely to have spoken to De Marco and all De Marco has mentioned is the club are confident (rather than divulge information).
  18. He hasn't leaked information - he's just mentioned that the club are confident
  19. De Marco. He’s chums with him. Had him on his pod and always exchanging tweets
  20. He’s in completely denial about Man City’s cheating so take from that what you will
  21. Borson's a plonker. Maguire is at least a decent fella (and appears good mates with De Marco - who appears a right character)
  22. Remember last window when the news of Kristansen broke just as January started ? Still took us 3 weeks to get over the line
  23. If they leave, it's' going to be painful and it will be like Reading I reckon. I just don't see them sucking up an offer
  24. Aye big Jon Rudkin shape of incompetency why.
  25. Ticked over to 314 now. Couple of doubles over Christmas. Bromley plans in place for end of February - which completes the 92. Flights booked to do Dundee derby in March. If lucky might pull in Hearts as well. Would love to do Stockholm derby in April as AIK are at home to Malmo & Djurgardens women are playing at 1912 Olympic Stadium over that weekend. Flights are proving tricky and a ticket to Hammarby as well. I have made major progress on UCL South, done to 4 for Northern Mids. Haven't done many long distance non-leagues this year.
