  1. you’ve said it before me. Fulham have a big hole at the moment in midfield. Silva went with flair over Harrison Reed on Friday and it might them very suspect on the transition
  2. Raikhy and Ali both went off injured on Friday night
  3. The flip side to that though was he directly contributed to relegation in two big moments and was part of three players who cocked up one of those best seasons being even better by having a party during covid. I think anyone what also met him on one of his post match boozes as well or knows a woman who he’s attempted to entertain won’t have a decent reference of his character
  4. Then by contrast we have him plastered on the front of the programme
  5. As I said I got my moment last night. The bloke is Cov and always Cov
  6. He’s disliked by the other investors at Palace
  7. That investor at Palace wants out - he's looking at Everton
  8. @Tommy Fresh you think what I'm thinking?
  9. He did the same exact cross which led to a winner in one of Dean Smith's few victories. It's in the locker, it's just quite clear to me we are going to sacrifice overlapping full-backs this season a lot.
  10. He started well, got injured, then came back too early. Maresca didn't want the lad to play as a conventional left-back (Ala Chilwell), so off he went on loan and was part of a team who were the success story of Serie A last season - similar sized club to ourselves finishing 5th. The lad is developing; he not perfect but you are going to get a lot of effort from him. He's very intelligent by footballer standards and that was part of the reason he didn't fit initially - he was supposedly amazed at the lack of drive by some in the squad when he joined. He was far more clever with how he kept his shape last night than he did in his last LCFC performances.
  11. Didn't know where to put this but anyone think pro football in the UK is on the wane. Over 940k attended games in the top four tiers. The pattern is likely to see a million topped in the next couple of years.
  12. Unsurprisingly he took better corners than he did at LCFC!
  13. Yeah this self importance of the fellow who set one up, then got laid on the deck a couple of times and then when the game become more competitive, he disappeared. When he got subbed off, I can only imagine his own mental gymnastics. The lap of honour at the end was footballing David Brent. It was the summary of his time at City really. When the going got tough, he got going
  14. Tut tut Lookman downed tools for Atalanta to push through a potential deal with PSG. won 4-0 anyway
  15. 13 goals behind Owen. Come on Vards
  16. How Maddison’s evening went was highly satisfying. Another couple of bits from me: Brennan Johnson is incredibly soft How did N’Udogie avoid a yellow card? 5 fouls I counted
  17. Lad gets it. I’ve said this from the start.
  18. He’s good. The way he used his body to protect the ball and win the ball tells me that. He’s really clever at pressing too. Got a winner here. Think he will be more useful in the 10 playing top teams
  19. Was he on a park run today? Called him early doors just doesn’t have the application or intelligence as a midfielder in a fast paced league
  20. Good to be positive. All I ask for my team is to be gritty and show bollocks. We did that plenty today. We have 37 with the same application as that second half then I won’t have any qualms on this season. I just hope those players don’t get let down by getting some help in
  21. Bloke I work with (board member at a club in Solihull) says no but another I occasionally work with does similar in Shropshire says there is visible pick-up in girls, female and mixed games.
  22. Be amazed if they get him for that. The talk in Netherlands has been that Atleti have fancied him for a long time and they think it would be £40m to £50m.
  23. Tbf lots of PL clubs have removed the discounts or significantly reduced the number of seats they offer at an Over 65s concession.
  24. When we discuss how we let certain players, contracts run out and not actively sought to sell, it annoys me as I look at Brentford who are in the process of getting something for Toney when it looked like there was very little interest him. Mount is another example of a player last season who didn't really stand out in terms of form but with a year on his contract, Chelsea got some serious money for him. How are others making it work but us not?
