Yeah that was daft. We have an all-time great here. The level of those front two is super human. Fingers crossed we have both fit leading into next summer.

Been arrested

Definitely a repeat watcher given there’s all sorts of theories about the storyline

You wouldn’t more time in Lens, it’s not the prettiest place. A city know for its mining industry more than anything else

We’ve cleaned out the vessel tank of a huge industrious size for the occasion. In fact, we’ve built an extension for our wonderful kettle. Those Dutch tears along side others from Europe really were a task for the cleaning squad. We’ve ensured that the generator is big enough to power the electric surge required at 10pm to successfully press the button and boil Europe’s tears and piss. Our scientists suspect that the ferocity of the steam shall introduce a night long fog over the other countries to the British Isles. There’s every chance Gareth and his squad plus the half of a million England fans in Germany will have to take a boat back to England as the sheer dense of the cloud could lead to a repeat of the chaos caused by the Iceland volcano on air traffic control.

Watched annihilation last night. I thought it was really good. There was one scene however that I really struggled to watch. I was about vomming

Brings back some memories that. My mate used to live in Balham, coincided with us getting promoted and subsequently winning the league. Some big piss ups over those two years. Once kept the Bedford open on a Tuesday night. Hagen and Hyde. Firefly. The Regent. Something always nice to look at 👀 in that parish too.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)

Gedling today - a corner of a course. Hills galore but a decent enough view and organisation -
Very late but onto Call My Agent. Didn’t realise the French could do comedy quite as good as this. I did bring to mind (excuse the pun) the criminally under seen Spiral which I am amazed that none of the streaming sites bough the rights to rescreen EDIT: ITVx have !

£9k to £13k at Wembley. A number of the larger stadiums have in place for the UK - Emirates is one
-
Think Pogacar won it today - absolute effort
-
Such a scheme has already existed in the UK. It’s effectively what Club Wembley is
-
It’s the way the average transfer deal works. Except Juve have been incredibly public to try and get the price up.
-
Juve need a good chunk of money now. He’d become Roma’s fifth most expensive signing ever - when you consider two of those above him are Cassano and Batustuta too….
-
Roma don’t have that dollar - and another example of Fab being told by an agent / club to push a story out
-
Juventus trying to make the negotiations as public as possible hoping another PL team get involved. Don’t want to conclude too quick.

Going through GBE rules in the PL handbook - I suspect this below might be one of the issues - he's more than valid but that the club has to do home office applications etc. A Player who has been granted a GBE under ISP (short term) of the PBS can apply (in country) to transfer to a GBE under ISP (long term) of the PBS. The club must submit a new application for a GBE and provide a pass certificate, or other written confirmation containing an appropriate reference number, from an accredited English language test centre that the Player has passed the English language test required to secure permission to stay under ISP (long term) of the PBS (in addition to the documents listed in paragraph 17). A Player who has been granted a GBE must submit a new application for a GBE if he wishes to permanently transfer (or has permanently transferred) to another club. If the GBE is granted, the player must submit a change of employment application to the Home Office, which must be granted before the Player can undertake any employment duties for the new club. EDIT Though this below says slightly different When a Player returns to his parent club after a loan period, no GBE application will be required by the parent club (provided the GBE remains valid beyond the date of the Player’s return).

Not necessarily the club enforcing it either. Big six pushing on the PL massively on this because of the touting they suffer - hence this https://sports.yahoo.com/report-arsenal-ban-20-000-143000668.html Still think there's another way personally and the club can be canny
-
Okoli is Italian though with Serie A/B appearances. Abdul had 6 for Sporting.
-
Think it's work permit based stuff - that's a guess. He's in England but the club can't show him on any grass yet
-
A rare occasion of LCFC being smart with the amortisation PSR stuff to be honest
-
We know how this goes - bid accepted and then it takes until mid August for signature to be done

Shop window of PL

you’ll need to get past the paywall to read but a superb article on Lib Dem’s strategy at this election
