  1. Exactly my thoughts. It wasn’t a statement of fact from myself, more I can’t work out how the position of the club need to stop a first team cos of the council unless it’s something like a rent increase but the site of course holds the kids and under 21s
  2. Craven had this perfect peak where BCA had just taken it on but the landlord was still serving really good beer. Then there was a massive fall out between the couple running and BCA. Apparently BCA felt like their beers were second to the guests. Actually think the best of the genre in Birmingham is now the Bull which is a hidden treat along with the Gunmakers Arms.
  3. No, just that he’s been offered a deal partly from the pod the other week and partly from rumour mill. Can’t believe it’s 3 years hence the reaction
  4. Does that include the forthcoming contract renewals as Sambiasso just mentioned?
  5. 👀😬 - 3 years!
  6. Finding it quite funny as well after moaning about fixture arrangements in the Championship, he’s gotta contend with the conference league next season in an extended format! 😂
  7. Interestingly though he’s been touting himself out. Apparently met with Brighton at least twice before De Zerbi departed.
  8. This might get you thinking but understand he’s early favourite anyway. Corberan is represented by the same agent as Enzo, Vardy and umpteen others in our squad. As is Potter and Garcia. One of the few people who Rudkin seems to work with on a regular basis. So I’d say high chance he gets to the shortlist
  9. Throw in the international tournament has well Meaning clubs and transfers are a little slower than the normal off summer
  10. If Romano does all the chasing it doesn’t really make it any different. As per if a player was doing it, it’s getting your name out there and make sure the club from which you depart show as little resistance as possible. At the same time, make a few friends when the shit hits the fan in a job to support your cause. LCFC funnily enough aren’t being resistant now. I don’t think it’s just cos of Enzo’s unhappiness at certain parts behind the scenes. Those that have seen him first hand just aren’t that bothered about putting up a fight to keep him.
  11. It became very obvious when David Raya wanted to leave Brentford - he was releasing tweets every two to three weeks during the season and then that sped up over the course of a transfer window to every day including quotes off Raya's agent. You only need to look at Balague and Enzo's relationship - and how three weeks ago it was Balague groaning about behind the scenes. So there's a pattern there of Enzo utilising journalists. Balague won't do transfer stories etc because it would affect his reputation as a well rounded, respected journo.
  12. Yes - it's quite clear Romano is used by agents and by default players and managers.
  13. There’s looking for the next opportunity. Then there’s having a recruiter aka Romano being a gobshite every four hours. That’s where the annoyance from many stems from Appears the club for once aren’t that fussed…read into that what you will
  14. Ended up doing Brixworth Country Park Run on Saturday - that’s a nice run. Beautiful lake to run alongside and then a hill finish. Managed sub 24. 10k today in and out of Glenfield - after seven pints, those hills were a killer.
  15. Didn’t bother in the end. Did a good crawl of Leicester but everywhere seemed to have pretty naff choices for beer.
  16. Why? The populations of such settlements make it a complete financial non starter. Literally a handful of people watch Fort William. Hearts or Hibs be a good investment but people have been there and done it. You’d need to literally spend four to five years of a lot of cash to give yourself the foundation.
  17. If the landlords are the local council and they've asked for an increase in rent, I get the position of pulling the first team out. But other than that, his quotes effectively saying it's my club and I don't want anyone else to really have it. The quote of “If we just dropped down I would still want to get back to where we are which completes the circle again. If I do something, I want to win.” is the real kick in the guts for Coalville fans. Non-League football isn't about winning, it's about fostering community and trying to give something for the town to enjoy.
  18. That’s that hill training! Congrats
  19. System went down for some at Norwich home this season. Thing is the take up is so low in certain parts of the ground, it didn’t overwhelm any particular turnstiles.
  20. Won on pens in Shield semis. Final against Rangers
  21. Good result for English football I think
  22. Always wanted to go Kaiserslautern
  23. The ‘’majority’ were firmly with the physical card last season. Around 16-17k kept with the card over 6k with the phone
