  1. Notable that Dan Bartlett (not convinced he was any good) whom left the club over the summer to take a position at Hibernian has done a full interview video this week. So it can be done. Just we have a top tier of directors who don’t want to
  2. - Bilbao - Wroclaw - Gdansk - Bordeaux
  3. A lot are correct that there are a number of players here which are toxic and what doesn't help is the owner in need of validation is quite pally with a number of them. Hence we have this scenario of them being overcompensated and taking any desire or hunger to work harder at LCFC.
  4. Point about him staying over was that it’s not healthy the amount of commuting he’s doing. Thursdays are a big tactical training session dsy at most clubs. Him staying over for that session made decent sense; not only for the football club but his own health and well-being.
  5. It’s not just two games either. Due to the boardrooms incompetence he’s working about a month behind every other manager in the division
  6. Blokes got a disaster to deal. He’s got a huge issue at CM where he’s a got disinterested Winks and two woeful other options. Upfront options are shite.
  7. Tonight fully exposed the lack of action within June being deadly. The manager has come on board too late and is only now beginning to shape opinions about the players. We need to get rid of players for wage bill and PSR but we need to bring players in important positions. Not just young lads to support the squad but first team starters It’s a ****ing disaster once again. What the **** were they doing in June! This is a man what’s struggled to work in the latter stages of a transfer window but we are here again needing to lose about 5/6 players and bring in 2/3
  8. I shouldnt be surprised at the reaction. This performance was always on the cards. That eleven is devoid of leadership and proper senior. Young lads throw in there without much help.
  9. Probably not but I know who is
  10. Last time in the championship, we won the league with a 7 point gap to 3rd and a 10 point gap to 4th. In 22/23, Sheff United in 2nd finished 11 points ahead of 3rd
  11. Not a chance. Bloke is poison.
  12. We are now. But we weren't in the period of which we have been charged for.
  13. It proves how much a disaster that season of a £90m loss (thankfully due to drop off the PSR calculations) when you consider it has £200m+ revenue!
  14. £107m is off the accounts and subsequent financial results. £19.5m loss last season - which means a likely PSR result of £1.5m profit.
  15. Our wage bill was £107m last time in the Championship
  16. I’ve allowed all that in my calculations. I’ve allowed for the wage bill to dip from £205m in our last PL accounts to £140m last season. That projects a financial yesr loss just short of £60million Then this years to be approximately £90m (last time Champ accounts were £105m
  17. My maths suggest we needed to save approx 30% on our last PL financial accounts to avoid another breach but then you have to remember that last season, our transfers were in region of £60 million loss and we only sold Cannon in the financial year. Wage bill would go down but we actually add more senior players. For some mad reason, we didn’t pursue selling a player over June to try and nullify that transfer loss. Either the club were paid a ridiculous sum of money by BC Game or we’ve grossly misunderstood the rules or want to challenge the rules. Now if we reduced last years loss by 30%, then as it stands we need to find another c£15m not to breach again. Our last Championsjip season we would have made a PSR cal of around £1.5m profit by that was supported by £72m player sales / managerial compensation. We are at best estimates £29m incoming transfer profit at the moment
  18. You are correct
  19. There's a devil advocate view that maybe our man Jon might have been encouraging certain ways of working but his master often disagrees, gets persuaded by others and recklessly makes decisions.
  20. North of Manchester and Liverpool, we never travelled well historically outside of the occasional trip to Blackburn (boom period withstanding). Newcastle excepted too.
  21. I don't really take too much issue with that. The current T20 blast is split into two blocks - the quarter-finals are played until September and the finals day in mid-september. The sight shorter group format should give a bit more tension and competitiveness. Shorter block of playing hopefully transfers to better overseas players.
  22. Head of H&S + Stewarding at LCFC or he was. He's left to do the same role at Twickenham. A little research told me that Chansiri's family aren't overly public in support of the Thai crown (thinking about that's one area of nonsense that has never occurred at Hillsborough), so King Power probably getting a dig in.
  23. Tbf your point is still valid - summer of 23/24 was decent enough. personally I think our scouting is so mixed up - manager input, scouting input, agent input - we've ended up with no clear transfer policy
  24. If you are coming from the Bus Station, the Salmon is as good as any old fashioned pub and it has SKY/TNT. Only issue is if it clashes with a Tigers match
  25. Well it went from being a serious news website to doing such articles as 'Premier League shirts rated'
