For a flat I'd be very surprised if that were the case. Most likely the landlord/freeholder is responsible for buildings insurance and so getting a survey is only ever for your own piece of mind. Issues in flats I'd expect to be either pretty obvious or beyond the scope of a survey.

There's always one or two wildcard games that are going to be a little one sided and with the strength of the Bills and Ravens it was always possible they would be one sided games. NFC games will be tighter I reckon.

You guess correctly! I can't recommend much family stuff as I went boozing/looking at buildings with mates but I will say it's a cool city, the metro is great for getting around. Miniatur wonderland is awesome, and the area around there/ the Elphilharmonie is quite nice. There are some boat rides you can do on the lake adjacent to the main train station. If I was a betting man I'd go Chiefs, they just know how to do what needs to be done in the biggest games. I don't really trust the Ravens in the playoffs, we've bottled it too many times in recent years but I do think on our day we are the best team in the AFC. If we can't win, I wouldn't begrudge a win for the Lions or the Bills. I just hope it isn't the Chiefs.

I've watched 6 eps now and won't be watching any more. I'm really surprised it has won so many plaudits, there's just so little about it. I thought with the exec producer being the creator of Scrubs that it would be right up my alley comedy wise but alas I've barely laughed 3 hours in.

Watched the Instigators with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck on Apple last night.
