I think this statement is 100% nailed on correct. The points deduction, coming when it did, killed the season dead in it's tracks. Players, fans, interim manager and future manager til end of season knew the writing was on the wall. Had the pts deduction been made at the start of the season then I think it would have been quite different. Or even at the end of the season when all was said and done and we totalled xx points -6. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, mind you. And we don't have any of it!

I've got parents player, managers and players all winning the one. Not having a lad clean sweep, or even take two so i've changed my managers and parents (unfortunately) as I felt the boys would talk about voting at some stage so that one can't be rigged. luckily voting was tight on supporters player so we gave it to the second placed kid and managers player had to be moved as he had already won players at a canter. we are also doing most improved and clubman of the year too. next year I want to opt for Goal of the Season.

The relentless bashing of this fixture is tiring. Okay, we know it wasn’t for you. I attended and am able to put the shit show of last two seasons (even five years) aside.
